I Favour Valencia, Hope Roma and being the only Bayern Munich fan I Pray Bayern Munich wins and go on to win the UCL .  dont bet against Ottmar Hitzfeld

tough, tough draws; on paper L'pool on paper seem 2 have d easiest of ties but given d fact dat Koeman has done 'em in 1ce & given d way they disposed of Arsenal, i think Rafa has course 4 concern.
Chelsea - Valencia 's gonna go down 2 d wire - 2 very strong teams, physically & otherwise, they just might need penalties 2 settle dis 1.
UTD - Roma; well goin in2 dis UTD's got d edge. Roma suffer 4rm "chronic inconsistency" - 1 moment they're hot, d next they're out like NEPA! if UTD have a full complement of their squad they c'ld take dis game far more easily than most would xpect.
Bayern - Milan; d pick of d games & probably d 2 most dangerous sides of d 8 left, why? prior 2 now, nobody's bothered 2 look in their direction cuz of ligue performances where they're both badly stutterin - d result? dey are playin under a whole lot less pressure than d rest. good thing dey was drawn 2gether cuz if kept apart dis 2 draw would most likely have been d final pairin.

gonna stick my neck out & risk havin it get cut off Wink Wink
dis yrs champs' comin outta d 2nd hat - specifically; Ac Milan/Bayern/Man Utd - odds stacked in favor of d teams in dat order i.e. Milan most likely ,  Man Utd least likely; don't see Roma gettin past UTD.

nice analysis ruudie. despite my love for liverpool, i'm inclined to agree with you. milan/bayern/utd in that order.

but my soul says----dont rule out liverpool. they perform when least expected and fumble when most expect they'll perform.

odds favoring manure ? that'd would be if manure don't meet roma when the inconsistency pendulum is hanging on the "great game" end. manyoo would be crying foul then.

Some people here have no idea

Roma have one of the best central defensive pairings in the world at the moment  Mexes and Chivu are a brick wall.

Mark my words. Roma would beat United.

Valencia couldnt score them at home, Lyon could not at all.

I bet those that watch only the premiership have not seen a club side that plays week in week out without a striker in ther line up. Strange.
And in spalleti, they have one of the best coaches and tacticians in the world right now.

    Yall will see.

    And Valencia will beat Chelsea.

The only game that cant be called right now is Milan-Bayern.
Both teams would have made the semis if they were not pulled together at this stage.

Sage, I agree with you there! But as 4 Valencia/Chelsea u never can be too sure, but undisputably Roma would mess Man U, no beef attached!!

    1.    2003/2004 UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE; MONACO (eventual runners-up) sent us out in the semis under Ranieri.
    2.    2004/2005 UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE; LIVERPOOL (eventual winners) sent us out at the quarters.
    3.    2005/2006 UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE; BARCA (eventual winners again) sent us out at he 2nd round.

    Wait o,

    i) 2004/2005 UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE; we played the defending champions (Porto) at the group stages.
ii) 2005/2006 UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE; we played the defending champions (Liverpool) at the group stages again.
iii) 2006/2007 UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE; we played the defending champions (Barcelona) at the group stages yet again!
what d' you see? We have garnered experience over the last 4 years. Greece is a country of history and Chelsea shall make history by losing to the eventual winners yet again, CHELSEA! IT sounds like a Paradox RIGHT?
    But REMEMBER, BLUE IS TRUE.
Valencia seems a good team all rigt but their keeper can be caught napping which is an advantage. But I pray morientes doesn't play cos he really troubled us when we played monaco a few yers back

in fact i see the ties as revenge time. if milan wins, manu 'll make their evege count. if liverpool gs thru, chelsea will make their revege count which makes it very possinble 4 manu and chelsea fal!

It seems every poster suddenly thinks minnows like Roma can really beat the Reds. This shows how deep the beef really runs.Roma as far as i'm concerned is a three man team [basically totti, pannucci and De Rossi] and i dont see them being much of a problem. Its gonna be a red triumph by and by

U see my problem with people that watch only english league. They don't even know what they are talking about.

You will remember these names for life after this encounter

    1 Taddei

    2 Mancini

and one of the best central defensive pairings in the world, yes better than ferdinand and Vidic, Mexes-Chivu.

And Roma are minnows Huh Huh Huh. Stop licking the premeirships azz and get acquinted with other leagues.

If you had any idea of what Roma can do or who their coach is, ul never call them minnows.

Dont forget that I.Milan were rocking and rocking untill they wre rocked out of the C.L by Valencia. Am sure the same thing will happen to Chelsea{ Blues indeed} ,they will really see both blue and black that day.

As for we, we will teach As Roma the difference between capital B and a cow's shoe.
