Aftermath Of Yaradua's Death.what Next For Nigeria. by Nobody: 12:19am On May 06, 2010
It has been confirmed that president umaru yaradua passed away some few hours ago after suffering months of illness.he has been distanced from official duties which made his vice-president goodluck jonathan to act in his capacity as acting president.
the game has changed now as it is expected that jonathan will be sworn-in as substantial president and also shop for a northern vice-president who is expected to take over from him at the completion of their tenure next year.
it is however pertinent to note that the choice of the vice-president who will automatically become the president come next election is very important and the situation at hand present a good cover for jonathan to kill the presidential ambition of general ibrabim badamosi BABANGIDA who is hell bent on ruling this country.
Since babangida would not want to serve as a vice-president to jonathan,it then gives jonathan all the time he needs to look for a good northerner as his vice-president,
there is also need for jonathan to heighten security in the presidential villa:
-to check those who may want to loot between now and daybreak.
-to monitor the activities of the military since we dont have a president at this time which create a vaccum in power as at now.
may the soul of yaradua rest in peace.
Say no to IBB presidency!!!!

the choice of the vice-president who will be a northerner is the most important thing we should think about now if jonathan wouldnt take a shot at the presidency.

You idiot should stop spreading your ignorance on a public forum . . .
2011 presidential election will be decided by Nigerians, and if IBB wins,so be it.

IBB for president come 2011.

mumu like you never open your eyes to see the permutations in front of you.ibb only has opportunity when jonathan has no vice and now the status quo here would be that his vice president would take over from him in 2011.so ibb should just go and jump into the lagoon

The north will make Jonathan an offer he can't refuse. His new VP may be a stand in for the big masquerades next year. Or he may be someone powerful enough to scuttle Jonathans plans. I won't be surprised if a Gusau is named the new VP.

Gusau= IBB. cool

I'm sorry to say this but Nigerians moved on a long time ago because everyone predicted he would die while in Office. . .
So, this is not coming as a shock or a big surprise to anyone.

i see gusau and NOT IBB on one hand provided obj doesnt doesnt over-stretch jonathan on his choice.in fact, obj would prefer any candidate who would agree to ONE TERM in offica and handover to south in 2015 and trust me,IBB is not a good choice for such mathematics

So, you use such forceful language merely because you believe the North will be pacified by appointment of a VP from the North?

However, what does the nation do now. This will be interesting to watch. I hope nothing bad happens though

I think this is going to be a fight to the finish. It is going to be crazy! Goodluck Jonathan is going to fight to keep the presidency now.

Dear Sir/Madam
I am sure that you have heard about the death of Nigeria's president Yar'adua, for it is the headline on every major news network in the world. Unfortunately, Mr. Yar'adua died without writing a will, and he is survived by his wife. His wife will inherit some of his property and wealth according to the laws of Nigeria. However, the manager of First Bank of Nigeria, PLC has just notified me that President Yar'adua has the equivalent of $50,000,000 (fifty million US Dollars) in his bank account, and that he did not list any next of kin. According to the laws of Nigeria, therefore, since he did not list any next of kin, the money will pass to his successor in interest.

I have talked to the Bank Manager and he told me that I am the successor in interest to any of President Yar'adua's assets, including financial assets, but that I have to sign several paperwork to expeditiously effectuate the transfer to me, the successor in interest. Please keep this matter confidential, for disclosing to any third party this information may affect the transfer of the funds to my bank account.

The manager has also informed that we need to some funds to effectuate this transfer, and therefore I need to remit to him as soon as possible the sum of $100,000 (one hundred thousand US dollars). Once you send me the $100,000, I will sign the necessary paperwork and transfer the money to your foreign account, whereupon you can deduct your $100,000 plus your $10,000,000 (ten million US dollars) which is your commission for being a partner.

Thank you very much. I hope that you will act swiftly within the next 24 hours, for every time wasted can severely jeopardize this transaction. The manger of First Bank of Nigeria, PLC will contact you insofar as needed to collect any relevant information that is pertinent to this transfer. Your full cooperation is required.

Sincerely,

Alhaji Al Rabin Tal Wa lal
Successor in interest to his excellency, President Musa Yar'adua
