Hmmm ruggedy vs mode 9 . As an mc learning the ropes, i would take mode 9 at least to make my lyrics thighter but as a label executive looking to make money, men its ruggedman fast . Im not trying to say ruggedy is lyrically weaker than 9 , im only sayin mode 9 is just not commercially viable. Check out his performance at the last AMAA awards in Bayelsa state . Its just the same way a wack mc like Sky B in Rivers state would sell more albums than mode 9 just because hes got what the people want [commercial value].
