Skin bleaching or lightening (whatever it's called) is not good, people should learn to love and appreciate themselves the way they are

You know

I once knew a girl that was really attractive until she got married, and stopped bleaching. she grew darker and it didn't fit her. Of course for that one example there are like 100 examples of horrible leopard-skinned bleach freaks. But this girl in particular was really attractive when she used to lighten her skin,  and became less so when she stopped. Of course I never saw her naked Cheesy

Its like some guys who look good in a beard but don't grow facial hair easily, or guys who look better clean shaven but are always sprouting father christmas beards. Some people need to find the look that fits them, and I don't think you'd accept  'give up' as a solution if you discovered it was just a few shades of skin tone between you and your ideal look.

And yes, there are light skinned people who look far more attractive with a darker skin tone,  I happen to know one (she has large lips, maybe thats the reason, ??)

I see where your obsession is, light skin

but do u know that if whoever u know kept to the natural colour, she'd be far much beautiful?

these are the same type of pips that have complications doing pregnancy/delivery. I heard of one that gave birth to a green baby 4 real. when things like this start happening they will start blaming village people or mother-in-law or grandmother or someone they are not in good terms with but its actually their fault.

Your illustration with guys with beards just doesnt gel because that still natural like a girl with different hair style. why don't u come out with e.g of guys that bleach?

YOU can't be serious!!

Following your logic, Large lips make a light skinned person unattractive and they can look better only with a darker skin tone?! WTF?

R you kidding me!? no seriously. . . .

WOW!!!! Shocked You're a beauty! [[No Homo]] I think what dakmanzero was trying to say was that some lightskinned girls look more attractive when dark and vise versa

Re: Using Bleaching Cream To Improve Your Appearance
« #77 on: March 22, 2007, 07:09 PM »

@little red thanks for clarifying that. Also I said 'maybe' for the large lips. I have large lips!!!!! Have nothing against them! Have nothing against dark skin either! look at my name DARK MAN ZERO lololollolol!!!!! There are white people with big lips that are fine.

@anonymous2:

Nope, my obsession is not light skin. I think fine people are fine, even if green skinned (Katma tui from Green lantern corps was the hotness. And she's PURPLE! Cheesy). Also many will agree with me that the new, darker skinned Eva longoria in Desperate housewives is more attractive. Ne? No big lips there, abi?

Also, Nope, the person I know will not be more attractive if she stuck to the natural skin clour for the simple fact that she became less attractive when she allowed herself to revert to it.  She was quite good at using the 'traeatment' because there was no way to know she was using it until she stopped. Its difficult to appreciate if you don't know the person. Just think of it this way: of 10 attractive lightskinned people you know, one probably bleaches and you don't know!

Finally the beard analogy DOES gel. That's because the act of shaving is unnatural, just like bleaching. you are cutting off your God-Given beard. Also the guy whos hair doesnt grow fast may use hair-grow lotion or cream. That's just the same as bleaching.

By the way for clarification: I consider all cream-based skin lightening treatments as 'bleaching'. Apologies for any confusion that may arise as a result,

@ debosky, dakmanzero, 4play and whoever belongs,

GORK your idea men!

dakmanzero, u say beards cutting is unnatural, do u know hair is dead cell? so removal of dead cells is now being artificial? do u keep long hair? if u don't would i say u are not natural? thats dumb u know. You see, there are ways to take care of the skin and it comes out fine and attractive. Do u know toning the skin is ideal but not bleaching? because toning regulates the ph level of the skin. there are good products for that. skin lightenin creams actually makes the skin thinner and therefore it becomes prone to cancer, cuts, and anything that could cause harm. these type of skin too gives problem when undergoing any surgeries or minor stiches. These "bleachers" may look attractive in the beginning but they develope complications later which includes a very bad body odour. we shouldn't encourage it one bit. Ask the girl u know y she stopped, maybe she had started noticing these complications that u the admirer didn't see.

topmost layer of the skin is dead and would shed off its self or heard of chemical peel? This is for exfoliation, it removes dead skin and helps to produce new cells.its different from bleaching. Bleaching goes beyond this dead cell of the epidemis (stratum corneum) not to repair or rejuvinate but to destroy from the skin base. What we need is something to detoxify and deep cleanse pores, induce natural peeling of dead skin, promoting a new and healthy layer. then replenish lost minerals through reverse osmosis.

The skin needs nourishment not to be maltreated with harsh creams that ends up destroying it.
