I think 16 is too early. 18 is just fine. It's not as if it works anyway but i think it is a way to regulate older people from sleeping with way too young especially when a lot of them are bigger than the kids.
Child porn is definitely out of the picture - that is abuse. The minute that is legalized, there would be a problem.

This idiotic story was on Tv the other night. The "couple's" first two children suffer severe disabilities and have been taken away from them by child protective services in Germany. They have another baby as at present and are trying to prevent him from being taken away too, apparently this third kid came out looking normal. With the legalising of sibling to sibling relationships, very soon it would not be out of place to see fathers going to court to challenge their "rights" to sleep with their daughters. First it was the legalisation of same-sex relationships, then bestiality and now incest. The line between humans and animals is becoming blurred. @ Omogenaija, you happy now?  |

Fact is that two Adults should be free to do what they like as long as they are not harming any one.
