I know some of us here might have had similar problems with their eyes.You just notice your eyes getting yellow and red as if you just finished smoking.Could be sometimes embarassing when people ask me do i smoke or am i a sickler and things like that.Looking into the mirror really makes me loose my confidence
Mine has been like that for a few years now and i have gone to see opticians but all of them just prescribe the same ineffective eyedrops.Right now i want to get an eye whitener because thats what some people have been telling me but i just want to find out from people that have whitened their eyes before or know something about eye whitners/eye whitening the kind of eye whitener i should get,where to purchase it,how much it would cost and also how long it would take before i get a visible(full) result.I am desperately in need of this and am sure your answers would be useful to other people.

eye whitening? never heard of it instead of going to the optician you should go see your doctor.Some people have dirty eyes due to dust but yellow  maybe you have kidney problem air pollution might be a reason you have red eyes or you stay around smokers |

i hope those eye whiteners aren't just a scam bt the real thing. I think u should really discuss this product with your optician first.
And do u suffer from hayfever or maybe u just don't get enough sleep?

Dont have any ailment of any sort.Am very healthy.its just due to dirts,smoke,Many hours of sitting in front of the computer and also not getting enough sleep.Have stopped using the computer and it has actually made the colour of my eyes permanently yellow,I spend less than 30minutes in front of it now and don't use it regularly also reduce the contrast,i sleep well now but it just seems to be permanent.and it has actually made the colour of my eyes permanently yellow.Really most opticians are not of any help.what they would all say is its permanent or use this and if it doesnt work don't bother yourself.My friend told me about Optrex But i still need more options.

the truth is that not everyone has sparkling white eyes. same with teeth. if the optician can't find anything wrong with you, then you are fine. i know everyone wants white eyes but sometimes we just can't do anything.
are you getting enough sleep? do you work long hours staring into computers, do you work in a buka with smoke? (im just kidding!) just rest your eyes as much as you can and don't let your eye color depress you ok?
n.b ive never heard of eye whitening either

yes i do use eye whitening drops just get to wilkinson and get it for £3.99. eye whitening does make a different to your entire look my eyes are crystral clear, but all these things are just vanity y'all. except from if your eyes are like noticeably yellow like urine samples or red then you can use eye whiteners.[b][/b]
@owner of thread, i like da way you think. i just thought of it people could actually be uncool or unemployed with yellow eyes

Oh wow, you guys have me freaked out? Does sitting in front of the computer make your eyes yellow? I've been using the computer for maybe several hours a day for like 6+ years, and my eyes are still white? I thought only dust can make your eyes yellow, not even lack of sleep as well?

Hey Visine should help but also stay out of dusty, sunny and smoky environments as much as possible.
Using an LCD screen with your computer would be more appropriate for your condition.
Sunglasses can help protect your eyes from dust and sun, make sure u wear them if u ever enter okada in naija.
Avoid alcohol esp before sleeping and get enough sleep every night.
Vitamin A (Retinol) is also known to enhance eye brightness so start loving fruits pal.

I don't know about eyewhiteners but I advice u go check your bilirubin level 2 rule out the possibility of Jaundice and Hyperbilirubinaemia.also take your environmental hygiene serious.

yeah, my eyes aren't particularly red or brown or yellow but when i went 4 my check up my optician asked if i had lived in africa, and when i said yes he said the browness was due to protein deposits resulting from dust and high sunshine levels, so wearing sunglasses is really d best u can do and fruits won't hurt either.

This sounds to me more like Jaundice. I know my eyes are a bit brown because of the pollution and the time spent on my PC. Not yellow!
I suggest you go to the doctor to get yourself checked out. Eyes are NOT supposed to turn yellow!

well, i'm a sickler and i have very yellow eyes. i've been abused countless times because of that. people really think i'm a freak but i'm just like any other person. i really don't have friends and the few i claim to have are sometimes ashamed if people see me with them. there's nothing i can do really. this has really crushed my confidence into pieces, because i can't look at people eye to eye. i've always wondered what it'd be like to have white eyes 4 just 1 minute, but, i don't know. therez nothing i can do. except i can get help from one of you lot, if datz possible. but on the other hand, i'm as normal as every one of u.

@whiteroses seems like you really understand the deal behind the whole eye whitening thing. but here in nigeria we can't get wilkinson only if you want to be a supplier  @beebaybee i totally understand how you feel.though my eyes are not as yellow as yours sounds but i know how white a healthy eye should look and i also understand the psychological effect it has on people.I know the way i and other people act when we see someone with yellow eyes.Its just an unconscious reaction.i have a few friends with yellow eyes and i know how i feel when i go to some places with them and also know the same way people with brighter eyes than mine act when they are with me. There is a solution,no doubt about that so don't loose hope,especially when people tell you that you have to learn to accept the fact that you have yellow eyes.There is almost a cure to every ailment.yellow eyes is even nothing close to an ailment.The main question now is where to get a good eye whitener because i have heard about people whitening their eyes and have also seen products on the internet but what we need right now is some professional advice or some way we could get the eye whitner here in nigeria @whiteroses am kind of serious about the wilkinson thing |
