Whitening Your Eye/Effect On Self Esteem

I know some of us here might have had similar problems with their eyes.You just notice your eyes getting yellow and red as if you just finished smoking.Could be sometimes embarassing when people ask me do i smoke or am i a sickler and things like that.Looking into the mirror really makes me loose my confidence

Mine has been like that for a few years now and i have gone to see opticians but all of them just prescribe the same ineffective eyedrops.Right now i want to get an eye whitener because thats what some people have been telling me but i just want to find out from people that have whitened their eyes before or know something about eye whitners/eye whitening the kind of eye whitener i should get,where to purchase it,how much it would cost and also how long it would take before i get a visible(full) result.I am desperately in need of this and am sure your answers would be useful to other people.

i hope those eye whiteners aren't just a scam bt the real thing. I think u should really discuss this product with your optician first.

And do u suffer from hayfever or maybe u just don't get enough sleep?

Mind what u put into your eyes and i dont think there is such a thing as eye whiteners.

yes i do use eye whitening drops just get to wilkinson and get it for £3.99. eye whitening does make a different to your entire look my eyes are crystral clear, but all these things are just vanity y'all. except from if your eyes are like noticeably yellow like urine samples or red then you can use eye whiteners.[b][/b]

I think what you need is Visine eye drop instead of some funky "eye whitener."

I don't know about eyewhiteners but I advice u go check your bilirubin level 2 rule out the possibility of Jaundice and Hyperbilirubinaemia.also take your environmental hygiene serious.

This sounds to me more like Jaundice.  I know my eyes are a bit brown because of the pollution and the time spent on my PC.  Not yellow!

I suggest you go to the doctor to get yourself checked out. Eyes are NOT supposed to turn yellow!

well, i'm a sickler and i have very yellow eyes. i've been abused countless times because of that. people really think i'm a freak but i'm just like any other person.  i really don't have friends and the few i claim to have are sometimes ashamed if people see me with them. there's nothing i can do really. this has really crushed my confidence into pieces, cos i can't look at people eye to eye. i've always wondered what it'd be like to have white eyes 4 just 1 minute, but, i dunno. therez nothing i can do. except i can get help from one of you lot, if datz possible. but on the other hand, i'm as normal as every one of u.

thats a natural remedy. The more you drink it cleans out your system and the excess bilirubin from your liver. Basically the more you pee the better it is.
I have a friend with sickle cell anemia, you CANNOT notice her eyes until you look very very closely because she's always drinking water (and peeing) which gets rid of it. And also this helps her have very clear skin. Its kinda annoying, cause all the guys love her. they dont know shes gt the disease.

I most def. can see the correlation here, like most peeps do when they get their teeth whitened as well. . .

they say it can take up to, 5-10 years off ones age. . . . . 

but oh well, i think we need to be comfortable in our own skin whatever be the case, afterall u only live once right, 

To the beebaybee, im a sickler also and my eyes are extremely yellow so r my brothers but i have tons of friends and have been in a few relationships. Like u i had a hard time looking people in the eyes and have had very embarrassing situations where people have loudly and inappropriately asked if i smoked, i even had a teacher call a parent teacher meeting to discus my "drug problem". But slowly and painfully I learned that if I had enough confidents that not only in my beauty but in my intelligence that no one could ever make me feel like I am less than they r. On the other hand i have had guys tell me that they thought my eyes were beautiful and exotic (including my bf of 2years), i have been told my many people that they did not even notice the color of my eyes, over years i have learned to brush off the stairs and the whispers and allow my personality do all the work for me,
[b][/b]My advise to u is to be CONFEDENT!!!!, the ppl perceive you by the way you portray  yourself, if u seem timid and easily intimidated u will b an easy target if u seem insecure and unconfident ppl will treat u like the ugly duckling always look your best and act like “your shit dnt stink” lol but if your self esteem is extremely low i suggest wear non prescription eye glasses to distract from your eyes.
