I agree with you axeprince, but you know something, that higher power has just told me to inform you to jump in front of a moving train tomorrow or youre doomed for disobedience, you have to do it whether you like it or not, okay? so when we don't see you anymore on NL we know you have succumbed to fate, and predestination.

I'll announce burial arrangements on NL

sincerely,

nicetohave Cool
Hey nicetohave, thanks for the advice, I tried it but all of them were running from me, it's sad.

Why people doesn't like reading?

Abbey, if an opinion is more than 7 or 8 lines, leave it for next time.

Sorry, I explained how predestination and free will can co-exists in that, and it takes more than 7 or 8 lines to explaining it, i mean it's complicated. Haven't you seen on other threads people writting posts just as long? I always read them... i don't see why you all can't.

Quote from: luridguy on January 04, 2006, 11:35 AM
any way i read the beginning i think u said something about free will and the devil choose his path and repent well i don't think he can he has set out to make sure people join him in hell so i don't think he has even ever thought of it........

i Did Not say anything about that. I simply was explaining how predestination and freewill can co-exists.

However, my personal opinion on if the devil repented today. ( I did not say this in my earlier post).

If the devil repented today and God let him come back to Heaven. I would probably kill myself. And i am not joking. Because the devil repenting would mean that the Bible has a lie in it. Meaning that the Bible is completely useless. Which means that Jesus would not be God's son, which means... my entire life is a lie. My entire life is based on my relationship with Jesus. I would sooner believe that we actually live on Mars, My hands are made out of chocolate, little Green men live in my mind, 1+1=fish, Hitler is my dad, mother Theresa is my mom, I'm actually a guy, gravity doesn't exist, this is all a dream and when i wake up i will be still 7 years old, an alien, and my life since year 7 of my life has all been just simply a dream. i sooner believe this than Jesus not being God's son. I am hopeless without Jesus. And so if i found out that the devil repented today, that would all be a lie. and i would probably kill myself.

Even if the devil repents it will not be acceptable to the almighty God, because God is holy and will always punish any offender. There is only one way that God can forgive - through JESUS CHRIST.

I agree with you MapYellow. How ever, bear in mind that The Devil Can Repent the same way Judas Iscariot repented. What is not possible is for God to forgive him. Why?
He has sinned against the holy Spirit - See Hebrews for details

It can't be changed. Consider Adam as an instance. Can you imagine him recieving God's forgiveness? Sinning willfully when one has full knowledge of christ may be considered as the sin against the holy spirit. The bible states clearly that in the case of those who grieve the holy spirit, 'there is no more forgiveness of sins left' for the have taken 'as ordinary' the blood of the lord Jesus Christ.

The problem is that most of us sin willfully. God alone know how he'll accomodate us. He reads the heart and can tell our deepest intension and motives. 'May we never fall in the hands of the living God' !

This is why there is so many denomination and religion. We do all have different understanding of God based on our different experiences in life.

A man is a product of its enviroment, your very best understanding of life is based on what you have been able to see, hear and learn in life. And that understanding is taken into personal understanding of other things in life for e.g GOD. Despite that Bible provide the facts about him, it takes understanding (through the Holy Spirit if I may add) to really know who God really is. Nevertheless human understanding still ulter that definitive understanding of GOD.

So in all in all. There will be no definitive answer to this myth.

Grin lol

you guys are wonderful in here with all kinds of questions.

First of all what is the DEVIL??

Well The devil is the other side of you that always prompt you
to do evil and disobey all comon rules and regulations including natural laws and Laws of God.
It is the force of gravity you must understand and manipulate to survive in life,  spiritually and otherwise
you should not let it drag you down.

  >:(EVIL <<<============>>> L _ I _ V _ E Cheesy

Evil lives in all men, and the Holy Spirit of god lives in all men too, The evil voice speaks louder but the holy spirit of God is more gentle and silent and speak only the words of salvation and sound wisdom.; it is the voice that show us the way to find God but the later try to keep us here roaming about in false teachings , greeds, fame, lust, hatred, and all that comes with it.

We just need to try to minimize the effect of this negative force on us and act more from the higher side of us ( the holy spirit in us)

So for the devil to repent, everybody in the world has to repent 100% ( devil only exist where there are people)

The devil is only a personification of an activated negative force
not a living monster somewhere in the outer space challenging God.

The day we realize it , that day our healing will begin.

The devil isn't a force or personification of any sort.

He is a real angel who had been defeated by Jesus over 2000 years ago. He is the leader of the group of angels that rebeled against God and who were kicked out of heaven. He has his network of demons with which he does havoc all over the earth.

He seeks to destroy all men but he donsnt live in or have dominion over all men... Because there are those who live and reign with God in dominin over sin and the devil.

...a breed of people who have been made superior to satan and to whom have been given  the instruction form Jesus to cast out devils!

He lives in the unregenerated man. He controls this man and the man, no matter how he tries remains under his condemnation.

He however speaks to people's minds...but it dosnt mean we have to accept what he says.

Collosians 2

  9For in him( Jesus) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

   10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

   11In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

   12Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

  13And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

   14Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

   15And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

We were dead in sins but Jesus has made us alive!

 Romans 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Jesus made an open show of the devil and his cohorts in hell. He spoiled them ( if you can imagine when soldiers go to war and come back with the spoils of war- every thing of value belonging to the enemy).

They have been disarmed!...but for lack of knowledge, God's people perish.

that in itself is your own opinion..............and indeed inspiration is an opinion, or how else do we describe it, God's? but then your opinion comes from the things and situations your senses have been trained for by reason of use.use how? by learning at the feet of christ, on your knees and communion with the holy spirit, it can't be learnt from the web or NL
