Nigeria was formed in 1914 which is less than 100 years ago Liberia, like you said was created about 200 years ago. so how can they be "nigerians" when there was no such thing as Nigeria 200 years ago ?  are you talking about people who lived in the lands where Nigeria currently sits? they weren't "nigerian" |

My mum is from liberia and my Father from sierra leone. i am a member of many african websites and i have been a guest on this one for a while. i can honestly say i am proud to be half liberian and our culture is unique unlike the rest of africa. if you don't like our accent than thats your problem. people do always tell me and ask if my mum is american but she is not, she is from the vai tribe in liberia. and to the sierra leonean woman who hates liberians and loves nigerians you are a sell out and you should be ahsmed of yourself. i don't hate any tribe but the comments i have read have made me as bad as you guys now. my dad is from sierra leone and he always tells me to never marry a nigerian and alot of people from sierra leone do hate nigerians, not all, but the ones in my family always have something to say. even in dagenham they are taking over. england has so many of them. and to omi. not all liberians are black skinned, thats like me saying all nigerians have big noses.
