Haba!  What kind of dumb question is this?  Of course, the man should pound yams.  The woman bears children which is more strenuous.

Nobody should pound yam. Use manual grinder to grind yam and even cocoyam. It comes out smoother that way.

The man shuld pound it, and the woman checking if done well, and the woman will feed the man with some of the yam, and they kiss a little while pounding sef.
To stop all the wahala, do poundo yam jare . . . the flour thing, easy and better than that yama yama yam pounding

U started with something reasonable, but ended it the other way,
why would you compare pounded yam to poundo yam, the difference is so  wide.

Nothing can stop me from pounding the yam, I'ld do the pounding outside the 'condo',  .simple!

on 2 different occassions i have prepared for myself this Pando Yam of a thing and in my opinion, it cant be compared to the real thing. Fortunately, i know how to pound the yam using "ODO ATI OMO EE". i prepare it for my mum anytime i am oppurtuned to be at home.  Wink
whether i will allow my wify to pound using this very old tools?Huh??   I doubt this,

I hate that pounding stuff so bad, cos i have seen how gross it cld be while i was growing up.

when i marry, my wife will not even know the location of the mortar, pounding is an exclusive right/priviledge/sufferness of MEN
If she has probs with the technique, she tell me and i'll make adjustment.
