Living in LA, I wouldn't expect garri to be scarce, though I could be wrong.  Perhaps you aren't living/visiting the right neighborhoods?

For me, it's the classical smoking of "oto (as we used to call it in sec sch ): Garri, sugar, carnation and milo with a few crushed cabin biscuits to boot.  Take that with some beans and you will be asking yourself what the use of going back to naija is man  - it's naija heaven in america
