As I sit staring @ how peaceful the trees feel
How calm the sea seems
How happy kids are
I think about what we had
How happy we were
How calm we seemed
How peaceful we felt
It’s all so fresh in my mind
Seems like yesterday
When you held me
And whispered sweet nothings in my ear
When I ran my fingers through your hair
I felt there’s nothing more gorgeous than you
We were meant to be together forever
You promised
I remember the last time
U kissed me and said “see you later”
Seemed so normal
I could swear I’ll “SEE YOU LATER”
Can’t believe we ended this way
No explanations, no logical reason why
U must wonder why I’m doing this now
After such a long time
Just wanted you to know
You were my 1st love, 1st kiss, 1st touch
Tho’ I’m moving on with my life
I’ll always love you
No matter what
I know if love were enough
We’ll be together
