Some Credit To The Redeemer's University Anybody?
« on: January 04, 2006, 06:26 PM »

I am a student of the Redeemer's University.  It's sad that most people dislike the school basically or get pissed off when the name is mentioned.  It's not that bad.

Well your school seems all new and still need time for a proper recognition. Other private schools sufferd the same abuses too. Babcok as out grown its, convenant too and a few others,  Just be proud of your school and let your personality reflect where you come from. in a short time, they'lld learn to apreciate your school. Safe

Why don't you make yourself an ambassador of the Redeemer's University and tell us what we need to know? Tell us about their website, mode of teaching, tuition fee, behaviour of the lecturers, et cetera.  Impress us!

that is really good website. This is one of the few nigerian university websites that i like. Some of the links however are not working as of yet, signaling chances to grow. Both the idea and the integrity of the school is well maintained,

I'm a student of Redemers uni and basicly,i wont say am enjoyin d systen and i wont say d system is bad either, one thing pple fail to realise is that the skul is a private institution-just like Babcock,Convenat and Bowen, i see no reason y anybody shuld feel bad or complain.Every institution is bounded by rules, its  either u stick to d rules or leave(the authority never even begged for students) and besides we dont stay in skul all thru d year, so when u're@home,u could do and undo Cheesy[/i]

I am most pleased at the comments the Redeemer's University is generating.  We aim to be the best University in Ngeria, within a short time. We, however , would like our achievements to speak for us. We beleive that unwholesome publicity, the type common in Nigeria, is not the way to go. We have noted some of the comments made and will provide answers. Already you know our website: www. run.edu.ng. It is one website that is evolving, and as time goes on adequate information will be available for all. In the meantime, should you have any questions, please contact the following address: vcanswers@run.edu.ng

Thanks again for your comments

RUN is the place to be. I Look forward to sending my children there Grin Grin Grin

@okokomoki
Lovely reply. This is indeed a mature way to handle Criticism. I am proud of RUN. In few years to come, the difference between graduate's of this well structured and managed universities and that of the abandoned public universities (state and federal alike) will become a good topic for discussion on this forum.

Before someone take offense, let me quickly confess that I am a product of a federal university. Am proud of my alma mater. But it is a pity that the Federal Government who is supposed to be the owner and manager has long abandoned their obligation to this ivory towers and gone chasing shadows.

I am optimistic however, that the competition being created by the private Universities will send good signal to the State and Federal Government to sit-up and manage their universities well.

Any way sha am enjoying the school cos its a good place to be. Concerning the facilities the hostel is so conducive. we were initially 2 in a flat but now 3 with full ac. our lecturers are alright the treat us as parents etc only that the social life there is so boring just like any other christain private university in Nigeria. Weekends in my school is nothing to write home about but only the book warms enjoy there weekend
in the library. for my set we paid N270000 but for the new intake, they paid N330000 or there about.

Redeemer's University is one of the fast growing private university we have in Nigeria today, I have been to there temporary site at the Redemption city, no the school management are really trying.

By the time they will start there parmernet site @ Ede the school will be one of the best in the universe, the way the private secondary school are better to that to public that is how is going to be then, every body we wont there children to attend private university.

Am happy abt the comments it is generating thru this site
I think our rules are quite mild and really, law has to exist anywayz

If U know there is nothing like suspension in your skul, only expulsion,it wud make U sit up,'cos all crimes against the skul rules merit either a warning letter or expulsion.

Left to me I dont think the rules are as stict as convenant

I luv my school,I mean which fedral Uni will offer extra tution to their students for ICAN exam and also provide easy transportation.

My school is da bomb!
