My favorite board games are Monopoly and scrabble. I love monopoly the best tho. "go to jail".... "U've been elected chairman, give each member $50".  I play with guru's so I'm proud to say, i've never won.  But i try and they tell me I'm good... i always buy houses and hotels... so if u land on it.. u r sooo going to pay me lotsa cash.  But whenever i play with my friends, i mostly always win.  One place i love to buy is New york Ave. People land on it ALOT! And those two houses beside GO. (can't remember their name). It's funny how it tells u go to JAIL when u pick Chance or community chest. Monopoly is a game everyone should have in their house. And scrabble.... really good game. We mostly don't record the scores... but it's fun. When i was a kid, i loved playing LUDO and SNAKE AND LADDER. So ermmm.. what are yours? |

If you play Monopoly, keep a close eye on your cashflow and your credit rating (how much credit you can obtain by mortaging your land). Always think at least 2 rounds ahead. My favorite board game is definitely Risk. We used to play that for hours while in University. Didn't have to go to the pub. Just one or two bottles of wine, friends and Risk. Lovely memories  |

I play Chess a lot. I've won a couple of games though. It is a mind building game. I play it when I'm having a deep think on how to go about a particular stuff, the outcome of the game makes me know what to do next.
I also play draft(child's play) and sometimes Ludo. By the way, who thinks he is good at scrabble, come on and show me what you got.
Never had interest fo monopoly, but I enjoy watching when it is being played.
There is a traditional board game I used to play, i've forgotten the name now, but it's a two player game. each player is given three pieces, there are nine boxes, the first player to line up his three pieces orderly wins the game. Can u remind me of the name?

Risk looks like a risky game.. kind of complicated from the cover.

@ Advinchi I used to play chess a lot in secundary school. I thought I was reasonably good untill I got beaten badly by a 8 year old of a chess club. That was a humbling experience |

Screen game is more like it.... I hate Scrabble but i'm always forced to play it. Anytime Dad's in the mood..i must play and the Mans beats me like silly. Thats games is cheatin in itself. imagine the kind of words available. In fact anything is a word. I prefer Chess cuzz its mind tasking. I also play Checkers. |
