Any Difference Between Wap, Gprs, Mms (mtn Settings)

I saw the G sign on my phone, this i am told means there is GPRS network in my area. i use MTN, so i text SETTINGS to 3888 for my configuration. i was prompted by MTN to install some settings sent to me, this i did. to my surprise, i discover i coul browse. but i can only browse the MTN site. i am unable to access other sites. after a lot of research, i discovered that it is only the wap settings that is enabled.
i was sent sent 3 profiles from MTN. one 4 WAP
                                                         one 4 GPRS
                                                         one 4 MMS
pls, i dscovered the GPRS settig is not complete. pls i need someon to help me out.
i need the following:
APN
USRNAME
PASsWORD
IP ADDRESS
DNS ADDRESS
AUTHENTIFICATION
INTERNERT MODE: WAP OR HTTP
PROXY ADDRESS
PORT NUMBER
PLS i will be happy if any one van help out wit any of this settings.

@ekoja and others using moto L6 & L7, use/key in the following manually as outlined here. I have been using it on my L7 and it works. Good Luck.

From the main menu, go to Menu and select Web Access > Web Sessions > [New Entry]
Under Entry Details, select Change and enter the following fields accordingly:
• Name – MTN GPRS
• Homepage – http://wap.yahoo.co.uk
• Port 1 – 9201
• Domain 1 – skip
• Service Type 2 – select WAP
• Gateway IP 2 – skip
• Port 2 – 9201
• Domain 2 – skip
• DNS 1 – remain as default (000.000.000.000)
• DNS 2 – remain as default (000.000.000.000)
• Timeout – select 10 minutes
• CSD No. 1 – skip
• User Name 1 – skip
• Password 1 – skip
• Speed (Bps) 1 – select 9600
• Line Type 1 – select modem
• CSD No. 2 – skip
• User Name 2 – skip
• Password 2 – skip
• Speed (Bps) 1 – select 9600
• Line Type 1 – select mode
• GPRS APN – web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
• User Name – web
• Password – web

I use Samsung D500.  I cant send nor receive MMS.  I use MTN.  Please I need help as to GPRS settings.
