Fear is a very ancient and universal emotion in man. It can be defined as the sensation that you are in danger, that something bad is about to happen. Fear is almost always accompanied by a host of physical symptoms which are quite disturbing. When it is not justified by the presence of real danger or threat, or by any rational cause, and when it is also accompanied by a systematic avoidance of the situations which lead to it, then we have what is called a phobia.

Phobia is actually a kind of panic reaction caused by specific stimuli or situations

Car Fear is also a phobia: Defined as "a persistent, abnormal, and unwarranted fear of riding in cars", each year this surprisingly common phobia causes countless people needless distress.

What are the causes of Car Fear you may ask:
Like all fears and phobias, car ride fear is created by the unconscious mind as a protective mechanism. At some point in your past, there was likely an event linking riding in cars and emotional trauma. Whilst the original catalyst may have been a real-life scare of some kind, the condition can also be triggered by myriad, benign events like movies, TV, or perhaps seeing someone else experience trauma.

If you are living with riding in car phobia, what is the real cost to your health, your career or school, and to your family life? Avoiding the issue indefinitely would mean resigning yourself to living in fear, missing out on priceless life experiences big and small, living a life that is just a shadow of what it will be when the problem is gone.

Cure
1. Somebody said "the best way to eliminate your fear is to confront it"
2.  Neurolinguistic programming -
2. Reconditioning of your mindhttp://www.helpguide.org/mental/phobia_symptoms_types_treatment.htm
3. Energy Psychology
4. Be in control

Finally act like man guy

@ mayorin1, i don't understand u. i also have car/motion sickness and i feel like puking.

when travelling long distance try and swallow avomine, it will make u sleep.

Dont read or txt anyone with your phone in a moving vehicle

open the windows and get fresh air

don't look at things very close to u, try and focus your eyes on distant objects.

and lie down with your eyes closed for a bit when u get to your destination.

don't eat any greasy foods before your journey, some toast is always good, ask your doctor for some kind of medication for vertigo.

Ginger roots is an aromatic bitter herb that eases the discomfort associated with travel and stimulates digestion to promote gastrointestinal comfort (reducing nausea and stomach upset.) Buy the capsules, powdered form or buy the roots and cook it, take it on your journey, drink it, and you will feel better. It never fails me.
