You might want to find out if you have a stomach ulcer. It also induces unexplainable nausea.

Do you experience occassional pains in your tummy? Beyond that pls see your GP o.

Dear Ikamefa:

You must understand what Nausea is:

It is also known as seas sickness

The urge or sensation of being about to vomit. Vomiting, or emesis, is the expelling of undigested food through the mouth. Nausea may be caused by overeating, infection, or irritation of the throat or stomach lining.
Nausea is not sickness itself but a symptom of one.

Ikamefa, In fact, more often than not nausea indicates a condition somewhere else in the body rather than in the stomach itself, perhaps, systemic illnesses, such as influenza, medications, pain, and inner ear disease and even adverse effect of many drugs or an effect of a large intake of sugary foods.

Other Causes of Nausea includes but not limited to the following:
Addison Disease
Alcoholism and Alcohol Abuse
Appendicitis
Bulimia
Cancer
Certain Medication
Depression
Diabetes
Flu
Food Poisoning
Gastroenteritis (Stomach Flu)
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease
Gastroparesis
Hydrocephalus
Kidney Failure
Migraine
Pancreatitis
Peptic Ulcer
Sleep Deprivation
Tobacco Smoking / Second-hand Smoke
Vestibular Balance disorder
Viral Hepatitis
Environmental Change
Psychological Factors

Back to your question Ikamefa, you can employ one or more of the following treatment recommendations:

Symptomatic treatment for nausea and vomiting may include short-term avoidance of solid food.

Oral rehydration (drinking water) .

Intake ginger can help sooth the feeling of nausea.

Take lot of sleep

Avoid sugary food and unnecessary medication.

Avoid apprehension, depression, try to live a WORRY-FREE LIFE

If symptom persist see an expert.

I hope this will help Ikamefa - Waiting for my consultancy fee Grin

my sibling is worse. he "feels like puking" to everything. especially car freshners and some food
I thought it was symptom of being gay. j/k

there are people like that trust me. I personally don't like coffee, ridiculously oily food etc. apart from the nausea, i get stomach aches to go with it.

one question, does this happen all the time or it comes and go. it comes and go for me.
if it happens all the time, you probably want to go see a doctor

Re: Cure For Unexplainable Nausea

i could even say mine is worse cos just anything might make me throw up. Emotion makes me throw up, like when i'm extremely angry, if i'm excited, if i'm crying,  fright, perceive foul odour, eat certain food, sight of certain things especially sight of blood etc,

the issue is that i might or might not throw up in these cases but it can be embarrassing.

initially i was scared like i'm sick of something cos it's strange for one not to be pregnant and yet throw up just like that so i visited about two doctors and after test they told me it could be body changes, i just don't know what that should mean but it's been like that for like five years and i'm just used to it now.

sometimes i experience it more B/4 or during my period.

what i do is try to control it, as in to stop it's immediate cause immediately, sometimes take something  minty, stay away from crowd, pour cold water on my face or even rest my head for a while. Anything that can just stop it then and make me feel better. worse of it is that it affects the chest badly. it's important you deworm regularly

I would have said you were pregnant if your symptoms include vommiting{i still suspect you are} It happened to me when i traveded abroad in december last year i thought it was the cold weather i would suddenly feel sick in my stomach and feel nauseated most of the time i had to lnduce vomitting to feel better it got serriouse after some weeks and i gradually lost appetite. smell i loved became poison to my nose i hatted the smell of my once favourite perfume, soap, and cream. My once most desired chiken soup and other foods  became taboo to my stomach it became unbearable i went to seee a doctor who gave the verdict i was pregnant. Its a good thing youve been to the doctors dont relax when people tell you its normal as was with my case my friends, my ma's friends the doctors, my aunt who was a matron in short every one except my ma told me it was normal they dint beleive when i said i couldnt hold food or water down for 3 monthsand2 weeks it went on they all said its like that with some women i was feeling like shit no one knew how sick i felt they thought i was just a mummys girl and was looking for attention last month i fainted i was dehydrated my weight went down from 60 kg to 49 kg from january to march. i was taken to the hospital it was too late i lost the baby. Now i hate when i feel sick and people around say no need to see the doctor its normal and they recomend home remeddies i know when i feel somthing is wrong and i know when i feel i can handle a situation.

I think Ikamefa and everyone should go and read the info on "IS MILK GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH?" posting and responses because I think you may get info that is useful for you. Sometimes certain things that we feel or reactions by our body is a way of our body speaking or talking to us about condition that has been going on for a while that we are ignoring. That is just warning signal that the body is tired of it.

Try change your diets to pure vegetable and fruits for sometimes and see how your body responds. The first thing I will think is to cleanse your system of all junks ad toxins first before feeding it with fruits and vegtables. Stay away from those fried foods, red meat and dairy products, and reduce your cooked foods to once a day and be sure to eat leafy green vegetables and just one juicy fruit 30 to 40 minutes before you eat the cooked food. Don't eat after 7.30 in the evening, drink only water, or carrot juice made from your own kitchen for about 2 to 3 weeks and monitor your body reaction.
