Funny how y'all are talking about this soup. the first time i tasted it was at age 11(in my aunt's house), I loved it then, because it was fun to me - to play with it i guess. then the next time i ate it was about 3 years back in a resturant, It was pure EVIL!!! it was plain yucky!!! The thot of it alone makes me want to puke! maybe twas the way d folks in d resturant prepared it, but i don't want to taste it ever again.  Lips sealed
But, Zebedee if you can cook as good as u say, then i can have a re-think

what? Okoho with amala  Shocked i don't know o. but from what i saw my friends and neighbours who eat Okoho use their tuwo.

i had many Tiv and Idomas as neighbors and friends while growing up. I see them use tuwo (theirs is not like the hausas plain corn) but they add cassava elubo to it to make drawlike a bit). so they do use it for their okoho. Pyam is used as well.

Hmmmm i don't know this tuwo oand i know many idomas/Tiv. The combination i know is Poundo mixed with ebabut almost everytime it's poundo.
