Ludlum, Forsythe, Agatha Christy, Stephen King, Michael Crichton - too many to mention. Masters of the game, the whole lot of them!

 I think  patricia cornwell is tha bomb coz shew right detective novel like no other person.She goes into every detail making it seem like you [email][/email]are there

Don't call any novelist the best. you either say is interesting cos you're yet to read ten percent
of interested novels.
Any way, I dont have, since am yet to read all the interested novels.

"Best Author" depends on what interests you in a book. Note that I have read millions of books.

For me, the following authors take the lead.

Arthur Hailey - For thoroughly researched, educative and thrilling novels
Sydney Sheldon - his novels are captivating. "Sands of Time" is his best work.
Dan Brown - For controversial, radical books with religious undertones.
Buchi Emecheta - For African, feminine novels.
Enid Blyton - For Children's books
James Hardley Chase - Detective and Crime - though better suited for teenagers.
Danielle Steel - For Emotional, feminine novels
Stephen King - For horror.
