this qsn has no straightforward answer because many novelists move me differently. but my most celebrated novelist is Dan Brown. he has re-defined d way novels r written. he does his "homework" well and doesnt only give us a fictitious work of art (or science) by an encyclopaedia of information!
he's like no other!

i feel you on this one brother, the Guy is imaginative, read only two of his books tho' (Genevieve and the one about the Guy whose Chic is lesbian which he knows but he's still got something for the girl., 4gotten the name).

Dan Brown is tight, ''Deception point'' my best.

Danielle Steele, she's deep. My best novel she's written is the one about her dead Son "His Bright Light", so well told.

I love Chimamanda Adichie -o!! think she's the next best thing.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned DAVID BALDACCI yet! He's one of the best.
I read Paul Coelho's ELEVEN MINUTES a while back and it was a brilliant book, truly brilliant! Cant really care for Helen Oyeyemi too,i bought her Icarus girl several months back and i just couldn't get past the first few pages, couldn't put my eyes through the torture. She is boring!!!!! She was paid a monumental amount for her publishing rights though, and she's my age mate! See my life?
