I'd like to know.

Many people always so pe ijebu laun, ijebu laun (say that Ijebu people are stingy, they are stingy)

omo-ijebu ni mi (I'm an Ijebu man), I don't consider myself too-stingy.

i'm ijebu, my dad is one of the most generous people i know.
My uncle is igbo, i don't consider him stingy. i call it being prudent with money.

Ah ahn - what is wrong with Ijebu people? It's a stigma but I don't think it's necessarily true.

The Ijebus are gradually getting out of the stingy world Grin  A lot of them I know are stingy. If you want to confirm this, just go shopping with an Ijebu person and you would find out by yourself. An Ijebu would rather buy a cheap item of low quality than get the original, except when it comes to fashion.  I can still remember when the cheap Ijebu pencils were still common in the market. Grin

I work with some of them and another common trait is that they are fetish. Some of the ones I know are always talking about one baba 'preparing' one thing or the other for protection or progress.  Grin   Grin
