Health Experts in the house, i would like to know if HIV can be contacted either by giving or being given Oral Sex, your honest answers would enlighten lots.

HIV can only be contacted if u come in contact with infected blood, semen, breast milk e.t.c the chance of getting HIV by oral sex is very low but it is advisable to use dental dam for oral sex.

Yes the risk of contracting HIV via the mouth is low, but not impossible. If you have genito to oral penetration (basically placing the privates or vagina in yur partner's mouth) and the giver (the privates or the vagina) is HIV, then the virus exists in the genital fluids, now if thereciver (the one with the mouth) has even the slightest tiniest little cut in his/her mouth, the HIV can pass very easily to him/her.
Moral of the story: abstain or practise safe sex. For the married folks, have regualr sexual health tests to monitor your sexual health and maintian a disease-free life.

like Tega said, its not impsossible. i know you can get herpes, for HIV; lets take a scenario where one person has an open sore in the mouth and the other has another open sore (visible or invisible) in the perineum/private area, and one party has HIV, the likelihood of getting infected is high, but then again you are never too sure of getting infected until you hear the dr say "I am sorry you tested positive for HIV" and you start wondering what positive means and what negative means

 Kike u are one wicked child!!!! very funny. why do you think he is positive eh? i had a good laugh myself. Now talking seriously, i donot think it should be a laughing matter at all. ITS SERIOUS GUYS LETS STOP THE JOKE. Doctors in the house please help us ok. Would like to learn all there is about this damn disease. I heard fatigue could be a symptom. Is that true??? am always tired O! although i had a test last month which was obviously NEGATIVE. Guys get tested o! just buy the kit it works ok. I know it can be scary but the more you get tested the more careful you will be. Do not let 5mins pleasure be the end of your story!  Doctors in the house please let us know the symptoms.

oh mehn, for u to start having symptoms of HIV jus once year after, means that your immune symstem has been compromised before. i doubt that u get symptoms that early, save yourself the trouble, get tested homie, the stress u putting yourself in is a lot worse than getting an HIV test |
