Hmnn, this is interesting. As I sit here reading all the replies, I am filled with mixed feeling. I am a 31year old female and I had promise myself to keep my virginity till i get married. Well, I thought I would be married by now, but the reality is that I am not. I don't know if the ladies that are claiming to be virgins and want to wait till marriage are about my age, however, I must say that when you get to a certain age, your hormones get the best of you, no matter how much you desire to wait till marriage. It is easier for ladies in their 20s to want to wait, but what happens when you get into your 30s? I tried till this point and had to give it all up yesterday! As I sit here reading all these threads, I am filled with mixed emotions, on one hand that I gave it up to the man I love and on the other hand filled with the fear of what if it does not work out? then I have given all of me, but how long could I have held on to it?, I wonder if there are any other ladies in my shoes!

Your case is really a pathetic one.I am still a virgin,26,and i intend keeping it that way till the day i get married although some times i 've been temted to give in to some men who claimes to love me but so far, God has been my help inthat for no reasons these men stop calling or simply tell me the truth that they are not sure they are the right person for me. and you know what its God's doing since he knows such men are not destined for me.
giving your virginity to a man you are not married to and who you are not sure if marrying him would work out makes it worst still. I believe at your age you should know what is good for you and not settel for less. am sorry if i sound too blunt but i just have to express my feelings. SINCERLY I PRAY THINGS WORK OUT WELL FOR YOU AND THAT YOU DON'T REGRET YOUR DECISIONS since you already have missed feelings

 I prefer a virgin anyday, anytime. My experience with non-virgins so far has only yielded negative results. Mind you, it's not about being wild in bed or not. I'll advise all guys and ladies out there who still have it to cherish and keep it till when the time is right. Marriage is not only about sex because' trust me, a time will come when your partner won't have the features (ladies) or the sexual energy (guys) to make sex appealing. What d'you do then? Divorce?
