Still thinking,

The only possible thing I feel it is possible for me to donate is the kidney. I am not sure about the rest.

It's hypocritical to say you would take an organ donation if you need one, but you wouldn't donate.

It's like a poor person taking money from a charity when they need it. But then when they are rich and the charity asks them to donate they tell the charity 'no way, get stuffed!'

You either believe in organ donation or you don't. It's not ok to believeĀ  when you'll benefit from it but then let other people die instead of helping them.

I think that only people who are on the organ donation register should be allowed to get organs (apart from children of course). there's too many selfish people in this world.

All of you wishing to donate after your demise, Well its noble. But note  that patient's  immune system rejects foreign bodies. When that happens, what next? Throw away spare parts? And again-  :-\unless its in the will Undecided- relatives won't let pieces of you be donated.

Donating eggs and sperms whilst alive ----(For Stem cell research? Not Likely!). Huh
Donating blood ,  NEVER. Angry (It's dangerous even after screening for Hepatatis A, B and C, HIV-AIDS) I'll rather recommend Non-Blood Options. It's safer. Cheesy

ah, me i would like to live on in somebody else's body while i'm gone. so i say hell yes ima go get a donor card and sign up. but then again, how will it be when the person who got my eyes sees someone i know and the person is like "your eyes look familiar". haaaaaaaa that would be hella scary though!
but anyways, why hold on to anything when you're dead. its all going to rot while someone out there really need it.
i have a family member that needed an organ and eventually got one, he just recovered from the organ transplant successfuly, so i've become more grateful and open-minded because if it.  God is good, and people should be kind too Cool

it does take a family member getting a donor's organ sometimes to open our eyes and be less selfish. it brings the issue closer home.

Why not? Yes ,I will defintely like to donate. Of what use are the organs after death except as fertilizer in someone's garden?

Somedays ago, while I was going through my feeds Ifound out that Siurgeon now detected a procedure to remove organs and may be tumors.

According to the report, a boy had a brain tumor and they succeeded in passing a tube through his nose and were able to remove the tumor from the brain without any cut. And the other was a ladywhom they remove "i can't really recall this clearly, I think it was an organ through her vagina. I have a feeling that it was by the use of a flexible or tube like substance.  And the 2 people were in good health, so I guess if the future of operation will be this way people won't be cut up before their organ will be cured or removed.

If I can get the feed in my bin I will attach it to this post in future.

I agree, then again some people may not have very viable hearts, kidneys and lungs and the lower anatomy may be the only operational organ they have.
Who are we to say it's not vital.
One mans vital organ is another man's "kini" Grin Grin
