Mortgages In Nigeria: Where Is The Best Deal?

GOOD TIDINGS FORUM,
I am yet to read (maybe i have missed it) about mortgages in nigeria. I have read though about the banks' rates and offerrings. Most people do not know much apart from which bank gives what!! I want to believe that there are other mortgage financing more competitive than the banks and that would offer deals for 'barely' existing middle class nigerians.
Its great that mortgages has sprung up but i think people don't know how to tap on it, like its still for the rich!!!! But niaja is one of the most competitive economies so surely there is something out there for 'US'. With props prices getting out of hand , more people got to get in the props ladder na the only way to empower ourselves in this area of the economy.
