I have been in the office since Friday night,( did not vote) making sure that all the bank's server is in good working condition and monitoring all the ATM nation wide to be sure it is dispensing cash. I work in a bank. Operations. Guess you could say middle management. The pay is good but I am beginning to find it boring and motonous and it's starting to swallow up my life( taking too much time).

That's the story my brother! The bank work is too monotonous and boring and you hardly get a life. I overheard someone say the other day that GIGOLO is a lucrative business in the country![img][/img]

I like my job to a reasonable extent but dislike the geographical location.
I'm the head of marketing in a bank and supervise all the marketing teams but the location(okigwe, Imo state) is worse than boring. still i make the best of it.

i'm an electrical engineer in the projects dept of an oil company.

i'm mostly involved in downstream projects.i'm into engineering design, preparation of construction and contract documents(drawings, boqs, specs, cost estimates), project management and supervision.

i love what i do, but i HATE the politics i often have to contend with.(eg when a contract is awarded to a numbnuts contractor who is connected to the right people (this means you have to do serious close marking to avoid a shoddy job being done)

oddly, i have a second, undocumented job ;my colleagues and bosses consider me a computer expert, so i find myself providing IT support to my colleagues and superiors.

my second day on the site and i feel like i've know you all,  i am an accountant with one of the big four professional firms.
its what i've always wanted to do, but like you know in naija, we need more dough, so, if exxonmobil calls me, you know now.

my problem with some of you is that you claim to love your job yet you admit its boring, please,
