Hi, I've been a member for a long time but this is my first post. I'm also new to programming (I'm doing java) and I need a place where I can do a sort of IT so I can learn better. Any ideas/offers?

[size=8pt]I am not very new to programming and my language is Ashanti Twi, lol. Just kidding. This is a good place to start for anyone who wants to learn programming in Java.
http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/

You would need to download the Java development kit (latest) and the runtime environment you can get those here
Its a bundle and should contain both
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

Also a good IDE (integrated development environment) to start with would be JCreator you can get that here
Jcreator is shareware so you may want to get a cracked version from
http://www.jcreator.com/download.htm

I have also attached some file to this post just in case you want to skip the introduction stuff and get straight into business
