Please note: Hausa is the language of communication in many parts of the north, and in over nine countries in West Africa ranging from Niger, to Chad, northern Ghana, etc.
So what is wrong with non-Hausa people speaking Hausa? If you were to go to the United States today or to the UK, wouldn't you speak to them in their language - English? Or would you address them in your own native language?
