it is either the car is stolen, or u just want to see how many people will respond to you, if you have bought the car with your own money, there is no way on earth you would sell a 2003 Jaguar S-Type for 1.6M, clearing of such alone cost 400K, so how much did u buy and how much did u ship if wasnt bought within nigeria, also, these are V8 engines and you saying the fuel consumption could be compared to toyota and honda, which honda, because it surely aint Accord nor camry, so bros, get better information be4 marketing, besides, if you want to sell a stolen vehicle via this site, that would be sad

I can't help but laugh at your ignorance. If it was a stolen car why would i be bold enough to show the plate number in the pictures? It is up for sale at a giveaway price. If you want to buy(which doubt you can afford) call the number above.

$$Rhino: My Apologies, but I must agree with Mr. viperman in that it is not quite fair to state the car is 'either stolen' or 'viperman is not a serious seller only looking to garner the number of responses to his listing'. A lot of other possibilites are left out. There are a number a possible reasons why the price may be somewhat low: the mileage - 100K miles (would contribute to a lower price); the car is a manual transmission AND V6(i.e. the base of base models) (would contribute to a lower price), the car could have been a complete insurance write-off in the US - it looks like a US spec to me (accident and restored, flooding, etc) (would contribute greatly to a lower price); other possibilities also exist inclusive of the ones you mentioned. Jaguar S-Types also come in both V6s and V8s. So the V6 S-Type (18miles per gallon) is comparable to a V6 Honda (21 miles per gallon) or Camry (20 miles per gallon). With comparable being the key word. between: I cleared a more expensive car for less than 400k in Lagos. I'D be surprised if the tariff on the S-type were 400k. Lol. You never know with Naija though.

if truly the car is as beautiful as it is in the pics, i can say the price is very low to the quality of this car.

Thanks sir Qweird & ne4real
it's actually being sold that low Bcuz it's a form of repayment from someone who is owing us(we the present owners). Reason we want to dispose of it at that price to any lucky buyer and get our capital back. Hence the fixed price above.
thanks.

S type Jaguars are not that expensive.I have always wondered why.If you visit ebay, you'll find them 4 less than $8000. You can get them at the repo auction 4 $3000 even cheaper. I think Nigerians pay too much for everything, thats why they find the 1.6m so hard to swallow.

PapaBrown, i have seen a 2003 Jaguar S type for $3000 and cheaper. It was only sold as spare parts at the junk yard. Just to add, i did notice the Jaguar emblem that sits on the front of all jags (like Mercedes)is missing in the picture. What's the deal viper?

i think the likes of rhino and co should leave viperman alone. in as much as i can understand the fears and concerns of rhino and co especially when u consider the kind of society we all leave in, one must also know that such lucky buys still do happen legitimately and i can tell u that first hand. all u have to do is investigate properly, if possible get a police clearance and make sure u don't pay with cash but rather to an account. goodluck viperman in ur sales and try and understand rhino's concerns. don't get him twisted. meanwhile it should go for less!
