I just came about an idea. I think we the amateur and professional poets of this forum can altogether publish a poetry anthology which will be a co-operative contribution of all the poets in this forum. Different poems from different poets will be collected, screened and the ones found eligible for publication will be published.
Fellows do you think it is a good idea. Will it work? How exactly? Please post your views. This is not a matter of money making, just to get yourself published and your message through to the world through your poetry. Nothing more. Your views are welcome.

I think it a good sggestion but how is't going to be financed? and picking of the qualified poem should be based on public opinion in the poem forum.

If we cannot find one on time, that means we shall have no choice but to publish the anthology in an ebook format at lulu.com

hey basic,
we g'otta see eye 2 eye sometime - you can't be working on stuff with folks you no nada about ! about e-book format, i don't particularly dig that c'uz of reach, i think hardcopy is a better option in terms of reach !

You know, I think it'd be cool if everyone had their manuscripts then we can meet, compare works then meet one of them publishers. Personally, I believe I have about 10 very strong poems. So by the time we each put 10 poems, I think with 10 poets we'd be outstanding.

Well my own name is A. Adeola Toriola and I've got a pretty good number of poems. I'll like to be one of the contributors to the anthology. But I agree with the fact that we need Seun' s assistance.

I am not a poet. Dont write poems (not yet anyway) but do think what u guys are doing is a good thing.
Just keep it up,continue and see it to the end. There may be people who will try to run u guys down, don't mind them.
You will be surprised where this will take u to. Most big things that are now, started just like this. I am here to support u guys. I also wish Seun will contribute to this.

Okay, 1 step at a time. Everybody should have at least 5 copies of their very best poems printed out from microsoft format on A4 paper before next week Friday. Not this week, next week friday, 20th July. Ample time
