Two days to the governorship election,i was attacked by political thugs on my way from the office. Three phones, above six thousand naira, documents and my a.t.m card was stolen from me. A bottle was broken on my head and that landed me in the hospital. This happened at the stadium area immediately after the A.C rally at masha, lagos. Many people, men and women were also attacked and robbed in the day light. I lost a lot of blood but thank God am alive. It is barbaric that this still exist in our society.

you can say that to the numerous people who lives have been blighted by muggers trying to get phones or some other things off them. You never heard of people killing in order to steal a mobile phone in the UK? Have you ever heard of armed robbers killing people in Nigeria for such flimsy things as mobile phones?
If Nigeria had half the economic stability of UK, there'll probably be no robbers at all in Nigeria.

Sorry to hear about your incident. Hope u'll be fine soon.
Ure lucky to have survived. My brother, if you lived in my country (SA), I wonder if you would have made it home that day.
I live in a somewhat financially stable country and man the crime rate that we are experiencing down here is remarkably getting out of hand. The killing is senseless and I pray everyday the situation gets controlled.
