Who sang the song "Chicks and Chicken"?
Nigerian artist I think!

The lyrics went somethig like... Chicks.....

"They spread their legs so wide, that, you can see through......"  Shocked Shocked

I'm serious! - It really was a song, so my brother tells me  Grin

@ gentleleaura ... "I Will Survive" was sung by Gloria Gaynor not Diana Ross

@ AguNwoke hia! nna na waa oo...Chicks and Chickens indeed! Where did you get that from??? There is NO such song by a Nigerian artist.

@ ababoy1 you are too much ooo...since you are the oldies guru here I'm sure you'll know the name of the group that sang "Ain't No Stopping Us Now We're On The Move" (Cause I don't remember)

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Chaka Khan's "Ain't Nobody, Loves Me Better" (or was it mentioned?)

What about Kool & The Gang? Or The Gap Band? (lol!!!) And "Shame" by Evelyn ("Champagne") King

But with the sort of music played these days..my goodness..the lyrics are heavy! You could almost need protection to listen to the songs with all the innuendos (or infact literal description) of love making going on in the song! ewooo...

Sexual Healing is decent believe me compared to what's on the radio these days in the name of love songs...or is it the music videos? If the babes ain't shaking their booty or boobs in their skimpy bikinis then the video won't sell...na waa ooo...

I still think our generation got it better...

Thanks Ijebuman for the info.
What a pity about McFadden's demise, and Whitehead even died some years ago. Now they are both gone.
But their music lives on.. and that's a wondeful legacy.
