Women Referees Yes Women Commentators No
« on: April 23, 2007, 06:56 PM »

Did any one notice the woman commentator on BBC's match of the day? Am all for women's rights and I enjoy watching women's football, but women commentators No.  Is the Beeb not killing football with this single act. Give me monty any day, this Americanization of football has got to stop. They think by bringing in glamour will increase their share of the viewing public, how wrong. ITV did the same thing by bringing in Gabby  logan, it failed miserably that during the world cup Steve Rider  was quickly drafted in to replace her.
I am no misogynist, as I said I like women football as long as Rachel Yankey is playing.
