Oh really?!would you care to tell us where and how he exhibited this "innovations, " I doubt that we can use the adjectives above for any governor in Nigeria. If he is the angel of wisdom and probity that PDP (as if they know the meaning of these words) says he is, why did'nt PDP allow Nigerians the right to vote, why did they resort to the kind of tactics that was witnessed on saturday. For some of us to think that a credible and competent leader can come from the PDP, worse, that such a leader can emerge from a decidedly fraudulent process that was Nigeria's election ,is pure delusion.I am constrained to think that Nigeria is doomed to mediocre leadership.

i tend to agree with gmemdee, Nigerians have been robbed of their rite to select a leader of their choice, in my opinion Yar' adua's achievements as a governor is of little or no relevance if he is forced on Nigerians and he accepts the offer. If Obasanjo feels he has the sole rite to decide what is good for 200 million Nigerians and he feels he can hold on to power by installing a stooge of his in power then i believe Nigerians would be the losers if they accept it. we are all involved in the Nigeria project and we all believe our country can be great again but certainly Obasanjo's way is not the right way for us.

honestly speaking - even without the attendant problems, will you think Buhari or Atiku would have won the elections? Honestly speaking! And if Buhari wins, or Atiku wins, why will they be better off then Yar'Adua?

Thr deceitful Atiku spent 8 years in the same PDP that he wants everyone to rubbish as being no good - he has spent only three months or so in AC and is that enough to wash him away from blame in the same government he had been part and parcel of for 8 years?
