And heres the funny thing, our 'tiny tiny' airport with our small population still handles more traffic than any 'huge' airport in west africa. This is not about competition because if it were,  Anyway JKIA is undergoing major expansion as we speak. Thanks mwanawiwa, great job. Will join you soon

I don't believe that we still have this level of ignorance in Nairaland. I have always imagined Americans to be the ignorant fellows.

Sidon my friends. Obama says Kenyan die of hunger every day. And they are most corrupt now even ahead of Nigeria. Small economy, worst tribalism and giant corruption. The buildings you see in these pictures na belong to not more than ten people in Kenya abeg.

Mwanamwiwa,

Heko na hongera kwako. Una roho ya uzalendo kweli. lakini sisi wanaija twajua uchumi wetu ni kubwa zaidi kushinda ya Kenya. Ni mpango tu hatuna (kiswahili) otherwise  you can get several Nairobi size cities in one state in Nigeria. What you have in thes picture would be comparable to Ikoyi only or Victoria island but not the entire megamoth city of Lagos. It is way above Nairobi.

aaah it seems that even our national language is doing great. I bet not many kenyans can speak any native language in Naija. your r absolutely right. Kenya ni inchi ndogo, uchumi mdogo, na miji zetu pia ni ndogo. I will be  happy when naigeria will wake and realize her potentials. Personally i love naija,  For us we hope that in our tinyness we will be able 2 make our lives n those of fellow kenyans better.

The gap between poor n rich here is very big.  n so I do not despute that the buildings we see are owned by  a few pple. But 60% of our skyscrappers r owned by the govt( u can prove me wrong if u want) n there 4  they belong to the common mwananchi- the tax payers.
NB I wonder why there is alot of cheap politics from some naijas! Who said Kenya is competin wid Naigeria. Naigeria is huge we can never get near. If if we do, ua govt need a whippin

Wasemaje?

In Kiswhili to mean in short (nice photos and I understand your good intentions lady. But the debate cannot be a debate with a clearly one sided thrift. What do you say)
