great photos. Nigeria may not have wildebeests but we do have race and golf courses. Our female golfers are world reknowned, I think I could be wrong though- havent checked the news for a while. Runda and bandari estates look like some parts of naija too.

Runda and bandari estates look like some parts of naija too. This is what i have been telling them. One would think that those residential estates are modeled on Ikoyi. Kenyans rarely go golfing. They prefer the tracks. The golf courses you see there are patronized mostly by the unusually large expatriate community there.

How is the crime in kenya?? We have one of the lowest levels of crime and the govt has made sure it stays that way inorder to attract investors and tourists,remember we have no oil to back us up in revenues.

@Mwanamwiwa
You see what I mean. Pictures come alive with Conourse d' Elegance. I wonder which of the vintage autos won this time round. How I wish for once I would be in Nairobi during this years issue. The KBH 590 Silver-ish Royce sure seduces me. My 9ja queen would love it.

The Great wilderbeast migration-Maasai mara. Its now considered to be one of the seven wonders of the natural world as thousands of wilderbeast cross from the Serengeti in Tanzania and into the Maasai Mara in Kenya every year. (Im sure you have seen this on virtually every nature channel on TV.) Hot Air Balloon Safari-The Maasai Mara.This is one of the most popular ways of getting to see wildlife in this game park. Its kind of cool though Im kinda scared of heights myself. On the ground, they first light the gas burners and fill the balloons. Shortly after takeoff. Watching the wilderbeest migration from above. The landscapes n' wildlife.

Wow. For once I am wowed by the Mara pictures. What a beauty? I never quite got to visit the Mara. Even POTUS Obama, an American beat me to that from the accounts of his Dreams of My Father memoir which I am currently enjoy reading.
One thing that beats me about the Mara is that it is famous for something other than her own wonders. I understand that without the Serengeti, there would be no Mara. The wildebeests that create a spectacle every year they migrate are actually Tanzanian. Why is it that Kenyans are the ones reaping from these creatures and not Tanzania. Something fishy here.
I understand that the same scenario plays out with Mt Kilimanjaro. Tourists who wish to visit Africa's highest peak go to Kenya instead of Tanzania where Kilimanjaro is actually located. What is it with Kenyans: reaping where they do not sow.
