Thank you very much for that question.

An asset is something that puts money into your pocket while a liability is something that takes money out of your pocket. On the real sense, a phone is a liability but in the business sense, a phone is also an asset in that there are a thousand and one ways by someone's handset can make money for him. i believe it abit of both.
I get to make essential communications even though its expensive but i get to make them anyway.
All i do is discipline myself by ticking to a strict budget monthly

My phone is definitely an asset and neccessity, not ony for personal use but work and use as well. That is not to mention the easy assess i have to the web 24hrs a day.

Well, as the saying goes, nothing is bad, it is exactly how you look at it that makes it bad or good.

For me, my phone is both my asset and a value to me, because, with it, i make great business calls that puts money into my pocket, with it, i receive payment confirmations and all others.

so, phone can be anything to anybody depending on how you look at it.
