Butterfly

God sent you to me at the right time in life
When I needed your special ways
To cheer me up,to make me smile
And bring sunshine to my days.
When I am with you, time never goes too fast
Suddenly this adult is a child again
As we throw a ball and play hide and seek .
Sometimes  it's so  exciting that I forget about the pain
You flit here and there, my butterfly
And walk a mile in a minute.
With you life is just one big happy game
And I pray that you  win it .
Remember to always love Mom and Dad
Listen closely to what they say
They only want the best for you
Keep God near and always pray
I won't be right by your side
But that doesn't mean that I don't care
I will always love you very much
If you need me, call me, I'll be there .
