                                               VISITATION OF AFFLICTION

The heat in oganda square was choking as night pitch blackness, there re howlins of mad dogs chanting about the distresses of the heavy downpour as if in celebration of the death of seven witches of oganda forest.

Oganda is located at a cross way between two or four imagined cities, its square consists of a shanty like market, dingy stores some with drawn, dirty, torn in shreads window shield. And rumors abound  about what goes on behind those dark windows, a melancholy sad singer stand, a weather beaten tavern overpowered by the stench of flesh, booze, and cigarrette smoke,a junkyard like run down police stattion and a lone forgothen church.

A lone figure drifted by the shadows of oganda square amidst the forlong whispers of lovers trapped in the heat of expatial desires sweating heat in oganda tavern rooms.

It was 2am, i woke up from a bad dream in cold sweat of the thirteen handmaidens violated at the oganda arena in the year of the flame, from my window i saw and  watched the lone figure drift by my flesh frozen.
loo! evil has visited the emancipated people of oganda.

Oganda square is known by its inhabitants as the  bazzar of story tellers. The pious ones eagerly awaits the doom to befall oganda for its epicentre shall be the oganda square.

Mothers shall curse the day they married and borne children, fathers shall say woe to us for we have brought pains on our selves for having sons. The gloom hangs heavily even night crickets reverse their mating songs, dogs weep daily under the willow tree surronding oganda sacred groove.

The Affliction begins

                                                                             Chapters One.

                                                                     The Year Of The Flame

Oganda that lies at the cross way to two or  four cities  imagined woke up to beheld the whirlwind of untold afflictions, the previous night before the begining of the year of the flame the  seven elders of the brotherhood of the crossway clans held their meeting in the sacred groove of oganda.

Elder Rowari was rumored of amassing great wealth and lived as golden king in one of the rumored cities when his mates re still sucking their mother's breast, but now bent over with age,he is the picture of opposite of what he was rumored about, weather beaten oganza hangs on his bony skeleton, a grumpy skull cap perches on the back of his complete bald head but if searched carefully some whiff of hair can be found, Greet good day to elder Rowari, he will raise his head in pain and replied, woe to this day that comes with a dark sun!
It is been rumored that he his doing his penance for evils of his wealth,he has become an anthem for the melancholy sad singer,it is even said in closed doors that he a chieftain of the seven elders of the brotherhood of the cross way clans.

Elder Rowari has only one surviving daugther
