Should This Older Man Marry A Woman Half His Age?
« on: January 16, 2006, 02:19 PM »

He met a young woman half his age but they are both so much in love that marriage seems to be the proper thing to do. However, the man's concern is that he is afraid the woman's parents would not welcome the idea of such an old man getting married to their young and beautiful daughter. The girl's concern is that her cronies will jeer at her for having gone for such an older man who could pass for her dady.

What would you do under the circumstances if it was your turn to experience such an ordeal?

With kind regards,

ALHAMBRA

@ poster:
They feel that way because they know what they are about to do is not proper. We are Africans for heaven's sake so such reactions are a by-order. If you have a premonition towards your upcoming union then that means you need to sit and re-evaluate your decisions. I don't know if the feelings they have for each other are genuine and I do not intend to ask but personally, I feel extremely offended when an older man makes passes at me. I can't imagine myself in that babe's shoes coz I'm sure they'll be too tight to fit

It;s odd but it could be the woman looks much older and the man much younger, it could work out.
