I am not up to 3 months old in this forum. Now i think the first problem is to lack of separate personality of seun and moderator. we are asked what we hate about the moderator but u see most of the attacks being on seun's personality. Now, there could be more than one moderator to allow for unbiased moderation unless seun wants to personalise the forum.
Also, a forum is not about programming (though i design forums) it is about people. I don't give seun credit for the programming (being a programmer myself). I give him credit for his idea and the marketing in it to bring so much members to this forum
A webmaster is much different from a moderator
I think seun can make more money from this site but he seems to be someone who wants to be remembered more for his effect than for his money. my type of person
At 24, i think seun is not immature but i think he has this robot-like personality which i used to have. most software coders do
seun can be very biased at times but he has a right to be biased. only the moderator shouldn't be which is why i clamor for a separation of roles/personalities
i think seun is a bit full of himself and like a previous poster pointed out, he should not make any assumptions about forum posters or assume superior knowledge on issues
i don't think nairaland will stop but since a forum is about people then if people still keep feeling aggrieved over banning and things like that, they could form some competition to nairaland by starting other forums.
i would say more later but above all i love seun a lot and this forum has been a blessing to many people. i don't really know how to hate because i can be too understanding

MAKES NO SENSE BA  seun can and will always do what he intends doing as far as it's in his FAVOUR. he plays the piper,dectates the pace and dances too well to it alone. we can't take it away from him that he's good i.e. in what he has created (niaraland), and we should know that whenever a law/rule is set, it is meant to be broken and purnishments follow thereafter.lets just learn to tamper justice with mercy. the only problem is in it's autocracy; he sets the rules,executes and convites (BANS) alone.how funny. seun, age is just a number and not an excuse for the way ur attitude problem,show maturity having been able to rub minds with so many mature fellows on these site. good luck, u need it for the future |

Notice that Seun is the almighty one who can ban and unban someone. I'll like to see more structured way of correcting the banning as being showcase in this tread. I do support and over support the complete banning of violence and sexual assault, if it exist and a warning sent before hand. The need for moderators are vital at this stage.
In as much as I respect the different views expressed by everyone, have u guys look at it form biz point of view? This site need to be run like one and not a charity forum. It's been very informative about our socio-economical ideologies, particularly, the business section.
We're not being forced to come here and if someone find it not suitable to his/her abusive world, 2 bad and move on.

as for me i am relatively new in nairaland, so far i am yet to see some of the things seun is being accused of. for a young man to put together this kind of forum i think he deserves our collective accolades. on a more serious note seun, as a big egbon or uncle;) i will advise you take some of these criticism and ponder over them, they may help in shaping your interpersonal interactions in the larger society keep the good work going

Seun is a nice guy, BUT I WONDER why he changed my name from BILL GATE to BILL GATESFAN,I never gave him such a permission,this action of his is not good at all,maybe he don't know that someone can BLOCKED the whole Nairaland website,thereby making it inaccessible to all including him.
You don't tamper with peoples name,whay of life, and their life in General. I have so many Computer Wizards as friends, I can decide to revenge by BLOCKING this web site forever till the second coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ, but I won't due to my love for the good people in this forum who use it .

Well I can't say I hate Seun, but I hate how he modifies some of my replies or topics and makes them too mellow sometimes. Then he sometimes turns you into a dartboard by editing your posts as well and allowing others free reign to reply you. Still he succeeds in keeping the forum tight and tidy.  |

Some things I don't like about Seun
1. First of all I believe a message forum should allow people to voice their opinions whatever they are, I believe Seun is too strict and bullies people on the board. Sometimes as I am typing I am thinking yepa will I be banned for this. Its is too much now.
2. Since you asked i don't like arrogant people and sometimes they way you post I believe you are but this can be because you areon the pc all day so just say what you want and leave or thats your style.
Anyway nairaland is interesting. I keep coming back because people on here are interesting. if not because of Seun sha,

can be cynical, case inpoint there was a joke he posted once and I didn't get the punchline especially the inference to Germans and I simply stated just that . Seun replies in bold letters something like only 'dumb' people wouldn't understand the joke.
Totally unnecessary.
