Help, My Laptop's Turned To A Mobile Desktop

I use a Toshiba Satellite A105 series laptop.

Just a few days back, my battery pack stopped charging.

What do I do?  Please help and save a soul.

most likely d battery is faulty and i guess its because of d flunctuating voltage u guys have over there, if u bought it brand new and its not yet a year old u could get it replaced for a reduced fee at toshiba service center otherwise u just have to buy a new battery, please DON'T try to repair it o! u will just end up spoiling the board if u do, u can get a new battery at ikeja for just 15k if u are in lagos or at citadel in ibadan, abuja or PH, in future try to use a voltage breaker/stabilizer with your laptop, cheerio

Shu!

@ exboy
Perhaps u have used the guaranted lifespan of that battery before its grounded else a new laptop battery can't start acting up that soon. If at all the system is new.  Well, i don't think batteries can be repair, so just go for a new one.

I once experience the same thing!

Hi. Take caution plz. In IT u av 2 troubleshoot in details before reaching a conclusion. av u charged it with another persons charger/power pack to know if that is d probs?Av u checked ur charging port 2 know if itz d prob?Do not conclude like that, check it out. In case its a new lappy, take it 2 a Toshiba service centre nd check if itz under warranty.

I understand what you mean, i have been in the same situation myself. i had to get a new battery but when the same problem occured i realized it could be a problem with the laptop itself and not with the battery charger. as at last year, some toshiba products were called back because of a problem, you might check if yours qualify or if they still have that action on. take the laptop to a repair shop and see whether it requires new laptop or not.
