No Life Insurance Policy In Nollywood
« on: May 14, 2007, 10:04 PM »

I have just been informed that a young Nigerian actor collapsed and died on location in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. But I have to confirm the report before posting the details.

I am more concerned about the welfare of the poorer Nollywood actors, because Nigerian filmmakers don't provide insurance for their artistes. When J.T. Tom West died on location, there was no insurance for his accidental death.

There is no life insurance policy in Nollywood.
