as the Encyclopaedia of Islam says, even orthodox Muslim theologians such as al Ghazali (died 1111 CE) and Al-Ash'ari (died 935 CE) have "admitted sensual pleasures into paradise". The sensual pleasures are graphically elaborated by Al-Suyuti (died 1505 )

That is precisely why I haven't (and may not) post the graphic elaborations of what I have read from authentic Islamic sources. This is the reason why I remarked to belloti once that the stuff I've read from such Islamic sources are not normal!  Undecided

@tellyb, nossycheek, etc

does anyone have a weblink to the houris description? I would appreciate a hard reference.

@nossycheek

Repeating question: were you ever a muslim at any time?

@babs, etc:

No reactions on the above? So we are to assume there have been no distortions and everything is exactly as reported above?

@everyone

This is all very interesting, isn't it.

Well, nossycheek has provided one. The weblink sources I had are no longer active (probably removed from the net). But when I visit the library again soon, I'll send something to your email for your private consideration.

Well, most Muslims do not like to react, and we would have to respect that they do so in respect to the tenets of Islam to not engage in questions raised to scrutinized Islam.

As for babs, he probably has travelled and is out of town, or he's relaxing for now. I do hope he's okay all the same.

I be ordinary human being!  Grin Cheesy

There are many of them saved in my fav folder (although some of the very explicit ones have been removed from the web). I got them from Islamic websites written in Arabic; but the one above first appeared in one such Islamic website that is no longer an active URL; but was found again in a non-Islamic website after a very long search.

I don't want to use the others on this Forum as they're too sensitive in nature. However, just viewing them will tell your eyes and ears the things Muslim males are promised in Janna.

'Janna', the Arabic word for "garden", is used to depict the Islamic Paradise (or heaven), and it is called by about eight names in the Qur'an:

                   Jannatu al-Khuld

                   Darul al-Qarar

                   Jannatu al-Ma`wa

                   Darul as-Salam

                   Jannatu an-Na`I'm

                   Jannatu al-`Adn

                  `Illiyin,

                   Jannatu al-Firdaus.

The Qur'an promises that every Muslim will ENTER into HELL (Sura 19:71); but it also mentions that some will be saved out of it:

      Every soul will taste of death. And ye will be paid on the Day of Resurrection
      only that which ye have fairly earned. Whoso is removed from the Fire and is
      made to enter paradise, he indeed is triumphant. The life of this world is but
      comfort of illusion.   --- Sura 3:185.

Although the Qur'an speaks in so many places about HELL and promises that EVERY Muslim will enter it while some may be saved (or "removed") out of it, it does not tell Muslim HOW they will get out of HELL alive.

The bottomline is that, most Muslim males take the quicker route in jihad - to die and be admitted expressly into janna, and to be rewarded with the felicitations of _ _ _ _ _ _!! (fill the gaps!).            Okay - 72 virgins!

Please nobody should ask me for the other pictures. I'll look into my archives for less explicit ones - if I find them.

Cheers.  Smiley

@ryu11,

I knew you'D bring that up. However, you might have arrived a tad too late to have cautioned our friends who have done the very things you're complaining about - especially because they were acting in line with their Qur'an.

Thanks for your selective observing. Did you perchance miss blabs787's comments? Perhaps you also overlooked Al Raheem's death threats on the other thread? Remove your head from the sands of political correctness, perhaps you will be able to see more objectively.

In no way have our comments "promoted hatred or discrimination", unless of course if the rules state that it is wrong to quote the quran.

@ryu11,

Come to think of it: are the issues highlighted here not found in Islam's holy books? And if they're found therein, who's offending who - the books offending Muslims, or Muslims offending the books? Is it that people should not discuss what they read in Islam's holy books and everything therein have to be hush-hush??  Undecided

They don't deny it being there,they are just not comfortable with you bringing it out in the open for all and sundry to read,it spoils business for the Islamobaptists aka moderates.

Just like the issue of aisha and Muhammad,they don't like us to stress that the kid was only a 6 year old when a man that could well have been her grandfather,at 54  decided to call her his wife.
They'll rather you talk of the "intelligence and maturity" of aisha at 9.
She was way above the league of 9 year olds, they would want to convince you.

Well, people, points have been made, and since there have been no dissenting views, I suppose there's no need to keep belabouring the issue.

Remember, anytime you bring up religious discussions it should be to grow spiritually and mentally and not to spread hate.

There's no need to sit around making fun of Muslims and denigrating the character of Mohammed if you have succesfully raised a point to ponder.

Since there have been no responses from babs, etc we can assume they either agree with you or have left.

@dakmanzero,

Other issues need addressing. Infact, having been away for a while, it's quite a surprise to come back and find that babs787 hasn't been on the Forum for a while as well! I do hope they haven't left - that would be quite a miss!!  Cheesy

Mr manzero, there is no agreement whatsoever. No points to ponder and no real truth. Am amazed with the biblical picture depecting muslims heaven. you guys are really moving fast. You don't need to get that far in blurring out the islamic ideals and concepts. I don't think anyone of you know islam very well just like i can't claim to know your doctrines better than you do. we shall leave hazy issues of our respective faiths to the ourselves who follows them.

That picture was not a Biblical depiction - it is an Islamic depiction of the Muslim jannah (paradise).

Read them as challenges offered to Muslims to share what they know about what they have refused to discuss.

A great one boasted about MO's sexual prowess in another thread hence the need to resurrect this thread. No wonder jannah is painted in such horrific sexual orgy (what with one man screwing 72 virgins) and the ladies?

One cannot cease to wonder the kind of perversion that rides the minds of the followers if the leader (followed) has such a huge sexual appetite. No longer he disallowed the Iddah rule in some cases and slept with Saffiyat the same night he killed her husband and brothers.
