Next week i will be putting together the top 100 richest people in Nigeria.
But can we ask ourselves what exactly this people have done to help fellow needy nigerian, apart from some scrappy employment with disgusting pay.
This is a thread i will like Nigerians to contribute to and discuss how the young generation can beat and surpass this mark.

You guys have it all wrong! The richest man in Nigeria is dead. He is and still would be late general Sani Abacha. Where where you guys when they wife Mariam declared that even if the federal government seizes all the money they can lay their hands on, they can never be as poor as Dangote.

I think you may be mistaken,most of the Bank CEOs are major shareholders the Ibrus own close to 40% of Oceanic ,Fola Adeola was a major shareholder in GTB,FCMB is majorly owned by the baloguns ,same for Zenith etc but I quite agree that the richest people in Nigeria currently are Yar'Adua & Goodluck(+their wives) |

Bill Gates is rated the richest in the world based on his business empire/network. it's impossible to rate a person on how much 'liquid cash he has because' u can't estimate how much cash one has( not realistic).

Bank CEO's are not as rich as u think they are, they don't own the bank, they are just major shareholders doing deals with other people's money. Igbinedions' sick/grounded okada air, his school and anyother business he has is like a pinch of salt compared to Dangote empire.
Rich thieves e.g Abachas, babangidas,Usenis etc should come out fully and compete with dangote. we say they front people, how do we verify???
I bet if Forbes magazine ever considers 'richest in Naija' they won't look into peoples account, they only consider business network/empire.
Dangote is not the richest nigerian in de world because' theres Harry Akande and Deinde Fernendez ( both of them were once in the first ten ) but in naija, DANGOTE RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
