A deliberate attempt to keep the Igbos away from Nigeria presidency is is like attempting suicide, Nigerians are not smart, and this is why they continue to play this dangerous game, the white South African government with their Nuclear weapon could not still decide to continue keeping south African blacks away from South African leadership, because they have the number 6 to realize is a time bomb, as per the case of Nigeria what do you expect from people with the IQ of 67.

In my opinion, there is no part of Nigeria that cannot be trusted with power, once that part is committed to the success & progress of this nation, and shows it is ready to work with all others, to develop the country.

Power is never handed to any group on a platter of gold. Those who want it, strategise to get it, forge alliances to build it, contest to win it & work hard to ensure it comes their way.

Talk is cheap. It is action that counts.

You are back to your old tricks  Grin I like the caveat you put there.Tell us which part of Nigeria needs to demonstrate their "committment".Your statement implys that some are more committed than others

Blatant gibberish response from the ever sneaky and myopic one. Which part of Nigeria did the Yorubasanjonic Obj work with? Now he's sold off all the assets of Nigeria to himself using cronies.

Hehehe, the tribalistic cartel are on board. Welcome gentlemen! Take a seat.

I-man, that's a new name. Have you been around or is this a dual pseudonym, which allows you to impersonate others?

Xtycod, you do NOT deserve a response. Your insults have been noted. But I will not descend to your level.

Chrisokw, there is no rat. Any group of the country that wants power has to strategise & forge alliances, either by themselves or through others with other parts of Nigeria. The truth is that if all members of an ethnic goup vote for their own son, he still wouldn't win outright, because politics is a game of numbers. One section alone of the country, cannot win power without votes from other sections of the country (either through free & fair elections or rigging). Please note: Am not an advocate of rigging.

Obasanjo was put in power in 1999 by the northern establishment, not even by his own people. If he had not forged alliances with them prior to that time, would they have backed him in 1999?
