My advice learn how to balance both out. Dont take one to the extreme and leave the other (studies and Fun )
Yes oh because if someone can't balance both enjoyment and study in high school then it will be tougher than that in college

ok omo-eko tell me what year you are in college, &how many units you've garnered. I hope you do realize how difficult it is to bring up a grade from a 3.0-3.5 that's assuming you've accumulated a significant amount of units.
otherwise, if you're a freshamn or sumtn like that it's sorta possible.

Am going to be a senior next fall and I know I can't bring it up to a 3.5 because I already made the calculation with what type of grade am expecting this summer classes and next fall and spring, but I need divine intervention sha or juju. lol

@femi Excuse me with due respect you make no point. I know the higher the year the more intense the work becomes but i have seen people improve its all about the mind set and determination. Maybe you failed in your quest to bring your grade ups and but please don't discourage others.

lakers, she's not settling for less. it's called being realistic.
do the math.
assume she's garnered 100 total credits so far(which is reasonable for a senior), if in her final year she takes a total of 40 more credits with a 4.0 GPA in those 40 credits, the max her GPA can come up to would be a 3.3

Re: Students: What's Your GPA?
« #114 on: June 02, 2007, 12:46 AM »

no, nosa.
it is not impossible, it hinges on the total number of (how many times I gotta repeat myself ni!gg@) units he/she has amassed, and the # of quarters/semesters he/she has left @ the school, bloke.

Too bad they use percentages here and exactly what it transforms into on the 4.0 GPA scale, who knows?

I used this scale http://www.ouac.on.ca/omsas/pdf/c_omsas_b.pdf , and I'm doing good so thank God!  Grin
