Absolutely love it! The Matrix (1st part) is the best! The Wachowski brothers should have stopped there!

Matrix 1 was like going to heaven for 1.5 hours
Matrix 2 was nonstop action, excitement and intrigue with so much promise at the end,
Matrix 3 was confusing while you watched, then dissapointing when it ended, then interesting when you studied it, then revealing when you re-watched it, then dissapointing again when you finally solved all the riddles.

The Matrix was about the best movie ever made by man. And just when there was no moving forward in Hollywood they brought in several new concepts in movie making that Hollywood should be thankful for. I think a monument should be built somewhere at the outskirts of Hollywood where Larry & Andy Wachowski would be worshipped. I even had to buy the script and read it.
There was absolutely no need for Reloaded and Revolutions. I still watched the trilogy this morning and it's still the same conclusion: the matrix ended in Matrix. The matrix reloaded and revolutions are just Nollywood-type concept milking ventures.

Reloaded wasn't so bad but revolution was kindda anticlimactic for me. Nwayz, if you see the Animatrix, revolution will make a little more sense. It's kindda a matrix part 2.5 thingy.

Lots of people hated revolutions because it needed you to use your head before you could 'get' it.
Matrix 1 was a work of genius because even a dullard could understand it, and it had a way of making you feel smart because you did!
However Matrix 3 tried to cram too much in, and a lot got lost in translation. To make matters worse, the plot seems to have been too deep even for the writers themselves, and they made some grave errors that kind of take the thrill away once you finally solve all the riddles.
Matrix2- lets just say the action was amazing- taking everything done in and since matrix 1 to the extreme. However there wasn't much else, and the needless tie-ins to ETM were just unnecessary, considering enter the mtric was a poor game
