Couldn't have been any greater,

I just hope Rafa can build on this form and up his game on grass so that he can give Federer many more heart-aches in other tourneys !

it was reaaly a good game though as always

on grass, the odds will be aganist him but I'm sure that with this form, he will do just fine  Wink

this just makes the game more intresting
Federer can't just keep winning all the time
I'm glad Rolland Garros is still elusive to him  Grin Grin Grin

I never really used to be much of a tennis buff way back when but i'd always digged Andre Agassi & followed his matches whenever i could, also like Martina Navratilova back then kuz she looked more like the studious !
well, my interest in tennis now is as a result of the coverage given it by the Sterling Sports Express Crew on CoolFm radio --- heck, those guys even make cricket look so darn good !  Grin
i like Nadal, can't say why but sori we differ on the Williams' --- just don't dig 'em, they remind me a little' too much of Mike Tyson !

lol

that shld be serena i guess  Grin Grin
Venus looks every bit feminine

serena however is my chick anyday
she has power that  i love to see
i even got her on my profile
she has loud mouth the only part i don't like  Angry

Andre Agassi was good in his days, got a loud ovation in that US open when he retired
Boris Becker was a genius;love him

Jennifer Capriate(hope i got the spellig right Undecided) is another lady i loves her tennis
I'm undecisive on Kim Undecided to me she was just there Undecided

at present i like Novak, i hope he improves on his game and talk less a well

 Grin Grin
U got the name correct all through but missed out on the last letter its an "I" insteada "E" --- Capriati ! Liked her a lot back then but my fav was always Hingis !

The williams' remind me of Tyson kuz of the way they play --- they come into the game way too aggressively for my liking looking to end it quickly, unfortunately wuth very little tact; that's why i liken 'em to Iron mike. drag the game longer & u just might beat 'em ! i agree that serena's better looking even though she's a bit on the muscular side but by gawd is she loaded  Huh  Wink  Cheesy  Grin --- bet she gets mo' of the attention & why not !

Aside Nadal, no other favs 4 now but i got my eye on Canas !

Grin  Grin Grin
James Blake, David Nalbadian, Lleyton Hewitt, Andy Murray, Roddick --- just don't know what's wrong with 'em dudes. maybe they're not as good as they're hyped.
I think Canas has got talent plus he's got age on his side ! I also fancy Ljubicic; basically, most players of latino origins i tend to favor !
bet Federer is still the yardstick by which all male players will be measured --- he really blew 'em all apart once upon a time !

don't know much about the female pack; Henin, Sharapova & the williams' are the only name that readily comes to my head everytime  but back then i was so into 'em, now --- i'm just lost; so many super-models out there !  Grin
viee (f)
Re: Talking Tennis: Roland Garros Kicks Off
« #252 on: June 11, 2007, 12:24 PM »

lol

sharapova is also doin the model thing no wonda she is not doin well also
Kim and henin can't exactly pass for models yu know Cheesy
Jankovic plays well
thing is, just like men tennis, some females at their best can only be beaten by the best
we keep hearing same old names and few new ones
the russians and the serbs do what the latinos do men tennis

serena can resurrect and win something
henin at the moment is no 1 and though i hate to admit, she absolutely deserves it

You're spot-on about the Russians & Serbs; they've also got names that sound so similar, tha you'd think they were clones !  Grin
The Yankees are losing their shine on the circuit now --- Sampras, Agassi & Co. sure have left a lot of weight on the shoulders of the younger generation & they're having one heck of a hard time carrying !
