Serena's game with Henin and the other QF matches are scheduled for tomorrow (tuesday).

Earlier today, Djokovic and Moya progressed into the QFs defeating Verdasco (6-3, 6-3, 7-6) and Bjorkman (7-6, 6-2, 7-5) respectively.

Sadly, Baghdatis is on his way out; he's 2 sets down and also a break down in the fourth set.

I think Nadal and Federer are way ahead of the others. I see them meeting again in the finals and Nadal is going to win.

As predicted by David, Nadal beat Hewitt in straight sets (the third set ended 7-6). He faces Moya in the QF.

Serena is going down tomorrow.  Tongue

never been a big fan of female tennis & the Williams sisters have just made it a whole lot less popular to me --- they're all brawns, with very lil' tact & finesse. its so darn drab 2 watch a tennis game where the players just hit the ball from the baseline, not making any attempt mobility. when the Williams' play, you can almost count the #no. of times they move over to the net to take a shot --- so darn infuriatingly monotonous !

Don't worry, the last american standing 'll be taught a lesson; I hope she packs her u know very well, because she'll be doing a lot of running tomorrow. If you want to see good tennis, watch Henin, Mauresmo, Hingis play, not those who rely solely on muscles power.

I am 100% sure Serena will win tomorrow in two sets trust me. The womens game is all about power and serena has the most, why do you think Hingis can't win Jack these days. Go Serena!!!!

Skills triumphed over power.

Champions let their racquets do the talking! A true champion - that's what she is! Henin won the last hope for the americans 6-4, 6-3.

Sorry serena peeps (wondering why y'all suddenly went offline)!  I wonder what her excuse will be Tongue

Robredo halts Federer's record of consecutive sets won in a Grand Slam.  He was however unable to beat the world number as he fell 5-7, 6-1, 1-6, 2-6.  Next for Federer is mostly like Davydenko.

Davydenko is thrashing Canas 7-5, 6-4 (he's a break up in the third set).

. . . not until u've crossed the Moya's and Djokovic's (or Andreev) hurdles.

QF Match Update: Canas has broken back; its 4-4 third set.

Final Result: Davydenko - Canas 7-5, 6-4, 6-4

Sad to see Serena go out but it was inevitable. Henin may not have the power but she definitely is the most skillful female player out there. She's as good as picked her third title in a row.

Nadal and Moya match to go to 4 sets with Nadal winning at last.
