 Shocked Shocked :oI don't know what UI means by your record is not in our DATABASE,somebody that admission status is on net last month and the candidate was given opportunity to change it's course,i don't know why record is not in DATABASE again. MY GOOD FRIEND, THE SAME THING TOO ME AND ONE OF MY FRIEND, LAST WEEK BUT NOW YOU CAN EVEN GET ACCESS TO THE PORTAL PAGE AGAIN I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO AGAIN, MAYBE WILL WILL HAVE TO KEEP ON CHECKING B4 4TH OF JUNE THE GOD FORBID EVILL, WE WILL GO THERE ON 5TH AND SEE WHAT THEY WILL ASK US TO DO, AM TIRED OF THEM I WILL ADVICE WE GET THIS OSUN STATE UNIVERSITY FOR ALTERNATIVE, BECAUSE ME OMOBOLA CANNOT ALLOW UI TO RUIN ME O, STAY BLESS TILL WE MEET IN UI.

UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS 2006/2007 SESSION
 
CANDIDATES ARE TO NOTE THE FOLLOWING;
 
In furtherance of the determination of their eligibility for admission, Clearance of the underlisted candidates will commence on 4 July – 24 July 2007.
2. Candidates should report at the Admissions Office to commence Clearance, after the filling of all forms downloaded from the University Web site http://www.ui.edu.ng/admissions).
At the point of Clearance, candidates will be required to present the following:
 
 
 
A Receipt of On-line payment of N5,000.00 (Admission Acceptance Fee)
 
B Original and photocopies of JAMB Notification of Result
 
C Original and photocopies of WASC/SSCE/GCE Certificate for       examination taken up to MAY/JUNE 2004.  Statement of Results ARE     NOT acceptable.
D Statement of Result will be acceptable in place of Certificate for     O’level/GCE/WASC examination taken after MAY/JUNE 2004 only.       Candidates should note that Nov/Dec 2006 WASC/GCE/NECO  results are not acceptable     
E Two reference letters on Letter-Heads from reputable persons e.g. Clergymen, Senior Public Officers, etc.
F Original and photocopies of birth certificate/sworn declaration of age. 
G 10 recent passport size photographs-showing frontal face view size (5.2cm             x 5.2 cm.)
H All relevant forms downloaded from the University website.           (http://www.ui.edu.ng/admissions)
 
4. A candidate who is successful and has been duly cleared will be eligible to collect   an Authority to Pay the schedule of fees.  No candidate should pay into      University Account without being authorized to do so, as no refund will be made.


5. The Fee Schedule is obtainable from the University website.  The fee chargeable is to be paid On-Line at the various designated banks:

Please note that students who have been asked to withdraw from this University or any other institutions are Not Eligible for clearance.  They are therefore     advised not to show up for the exercise at all.  Candidates who had already matriculated as students of this University are not eligible for fresh admission     (except as newly admitted Direct Entry candidates).  They are to note that the    penalty for double matriculation is expulsion when discovered.


7. Candidates should note that if at any stage it is discovered that credentials and records submitted at the point of clearance have some discrepancies they will be    disqualified automatically.
8. It is to be noted that faculties will not register students, except there is evidence of registration from the Medical Centre. Candidates are therefore advised to register at the Medical Centre on campus after clearance.
9. The deadline for registration will not be extended, therefore, a candidate who fails to show up at the stipulated time is deemed to have forfeited the opportunity of being cleared.


10.  Date of resumption for the 2006/2007 Session is 15 September 2007.

Candidates and their parents/sponsors should note that this is not a Confirmation of offer of admission.  Candidates are not regarded as bona fide students of the University of Ibadan until they have been duly cleared by the Admissions Office as possessing the basic requirements for the Faculty/Department of their choice.

@tunmininu, I think it is because from the way they sent their notice, it is like everybody is expected to start clearance and the registration procedures.

@fatimar,but there is no list for us to know if our names is on the list or not, I shouldn't be that it will be a wasted effort when we go only to get there and discover that our names is not among the list,

@tunmininu, you don't need to wait for any list to know if you have been admitted, all you need to do is; go to www.ui.mycportal.com and check you admission status.

As for me, I have done that so am very sure.

The earlier the better.

sallam fatimar and others and na waoh. me wey i dey ui self never no say we go resume for sep15 for jambite and that should be 22 for stallite and all the best to those that make it oh because ui na d school to be.and hun when u enter ui take am easy many hunter r on ground and i think if you're waitin 4 supplementary list then u have to wait for your list before u start registration.And if you're honest and trustworthy and u no get where u go sleep in case u stay outside ibadan when clearance start u can always get in touch wit me to assist u as per where to sleep overnight.And also don't give any body any money for  anythin you're not sure of oh and if person don collect money from u to help u wit ui admission,then u don miss am because 4 ui money no dey work except that the person wil collect the money 4 himself.thou if u know who is who then u can enter through supplementary list  if  u met certain requirement free of charge.

and for ui ojooro i think it is just a normal nigeria mistake when it comes to internet and in case u want to know situation in ui and u can come down just call 08082087131 and i will be ready to assist and plz no flashin and just doin this as part of my contribution to humanity.greatest  uite great.Am a kutite for life.

try any Zenith Bank within the Ikeja region. i've bought mine and printed out the forms. say, what course are y a goin in for?

yeah tumi congrats all registration took place at the art theatre just make 4 copies of your waec and staple to each a passport photograph, then 4 copies of your jamb, then two copies of your acceptance, then a copy of your 5000 teller and just make two copies of every oher thing and its a bit hectic there also buy a file

    @ Tumininu,       Smiley  This is good news, You know why am happy about this, because thats the Dept i finished from, UI is the greatest my dear, Be the best in everything u do,CLA is not an easy Dept, You av to strive really hard my dear , Well, I graduated in Feb, 2005, and am presently working, You will enjoy CLA Dept, because there are areas of Specialization , like Broadcasting, Advertising, Public Relations , Childrens Literature,Book Publishing, etc, So you av to make your own Uroice,  Its quite an interesting course.But i will advise that you pick a language with it , like French or German (I also picked the French Lang.), (These are elective courses from the Dept Of European Languages), I wish you the best in all your endeavors, But please face your studies squarely,  But all the best sha,
